Their website is www.westminster-mo.edu I believe that tickets for the general public go on sale on Monday, but don't quote me. They have an official ticket site where you can buy the tickets from. I don't think David is listed on their site just yet, though. You can call this number for more info - 573.592.6045.

That probably is much help, is it? LOL If I hear anything else, I'll post it here. smile.gif

I did get to talk to the activities director today at Westminster College. She told me that tickets go on sale Monday 2/2 at 8 am... Tickets will be $10 for the general public and only 350 tickets will be sold. She also told me that students get in free and they have the opportunity to get tickets tomorrow. She said that you can purchase tickets online at their website, there will be a link on Monday directing you there. Or you can call the number to the college. Hope that helps and good luck to all! wink.gif

Google is right. Fulton is just southeast of Columbia. If you're coming from St. Louis you would turn south just before you get to Columbia. For those of us in the KC area we have to go through Columbia, then south. We stayed in Fulton several years ago at a bed and breakfast (celebrating an anniversay). The B&B was right by the college. I've thought about trying to get to this one but
if they are only selling 350 I don't like my chances.

Thanks a lot, my mom thought it might be around Columbia, but we weren't sure
...2 hours seems kind of far, especially on a Tuesday
If only it was on a Saturday night or something sad.gif
Well I guess I'll have to wait a little bit before I see him again
Hopefully he'll come a bit closer in the future.

I don't think the Westminster ticket site knew what hit them! I got in at about 7:58 and once I had entered all of my information including credit card info (there was NO way to preregister), it took almost 8 minutes before I got my confirmation. The message said that under heavy usage, it might take 3 minutes to get registered. My friend also was trying to get tickets, but she didn't start until 7:59. By that time, the site was getting slammed, and her registration kept getting timed out. She perservered, and we now have 4 tickets between us. There are 4 VERY happy DC fans in south central Missouri biggrin.gif

Congrats, Ozark word nerd.

I tried to get them online, but it kept giving me an error after waiting for the 3+ minutes. I was also trying to call, and finally got through there. I got two tickets, gave them my name and phone number, and they said I could pick them up the day of the show. I wish that there was some kind of confirmation number, though. I think that I'm going to try to call them later this week again, just to confirm that I have the tickets.

I'm so freaking excited, though! biggrin.gif

Congrats to you too! I got a confirmation number with my online order, so I definitely would call in a day or so (I'm sure the staff needs some recovery time) to get some kind of confirmation that they have your order.

Hope to meet you at the show since we've been "talking" to each other on and off for a few months. I can't believe that in 3 weeks we'll be seeing David Cook at Westminster College. It's surreal. blink.gif

Oh my gosh! I didn't even realize it was that soon. I was just so worried about getting tickets that I didn't even pay attention to the date, lol. blink.gif

I hope to meet you (and many other David fans) as well. This is going to be so much fun. smile.gif

Does anyone know how big this venue is? It says that 400 tickets were avaliable to the general public, but that tickets were free to students. I was just wondering how many people would be there. I have been trying to determine how early I need to be there since there is no assigned seating.

I was looking for this too; their site says 1,400 seats.
