Anyone hoping to catch this one? I'll be back in H-burg for spring break and Carlisle's only about a half hour away so I'm definitely going to try and go. Let's make a thread for it and see if we can get info on tix!

If there are any left over then they will be open to the public...so I live in Carlisle and Im thinking i need to go to the college and sit and make some friends so they can purchase the tickets for me.....lol

Are the tickets for all colleges open to them and then the public?

Their website says tickets for students go on sale Monday, February 2nd. They will be open to the public on February 9th. 10 bucks for students, 15 for non-students. That is, if there's any left over.

The Multi-Organizational Board and Kappa Alpha Theta will be co-sponsoring the third-annual Rock the CASA Concert, which will be held on Tuesday, March 3 at 8 p.m. in the Anita Tuvin Schlechter Auditorium.
The concert will feature last season’s American Idol winner David Cook along with special guest Lesley Roy.

Tickets are $10 for students with a student ID and will go on sale Monday, February 2 and can be purchased at the bottom of the HUB Monday through Friday between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Students are encouraged to purchase tickets before they go on sale to the public for $15 starting February 9. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA).

I also learned from a poster at the DCO board that the venue is General Admission. I guess that means first come, first serve.

YES!!!!!! That gives us better chances for tickets. That way if they were seats that were assigned, the public would get nothing by next week if there are tickets left. It also helps increase the number of tickets they can sell but letting everyone pack in. It's a win-win situation if there are any tix left next week.

Sorry, but I talked to someone at the college yesterday and they told me it was assigned seating.

Hm, that stinks. All I've been hearing is GA. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. I got my tickets today but haven't gotten the info on where the seats are yet.

I emailed someone at Dickinson as listed on their website and she said it WILL be general admission. Doors open at 7. This is what is on their website, for those interested.

"David Cook, reigning winner of American Idol, will perform with special guest Ryan Star at Dickinson College’s Anita Tuvin Schlechter (ATS) auditorium Tuesday, March 3 at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $15 each (maximum four per person) and will go on sale to the public Monday, Feb. 9, in the lower level of the Holland Union Building (HUB) at North College and West High streets in Carlisle.

I'm stoked this is GA. I can't imagine David's concerts getting crazy but here's to hoping he pulls a couple hard rockers!

I sent in payment for tickets & they called to let me know my tickets will be waiting for me the day of the show at will call. I live almost 3 hours away, so driving to the HUB to pick up tickets was out of the question. I asked the girl on the phone if cameras were allowed and she said no. So, I emailed the organization holding the concert to ask them and got the same response. How can this be? It will be my first time seeing David in concert & I won't even have pics of it? how depressing!

Aw it'll be ok. Just arrive really early and hang out for awhile, Carlisle is a pretty town to walk through. Just don't wander too far..haha. But yeah most places say no to cameras but people sneak them in anyway. That is, if you're willing to try it. I haven't decided what I'm going to do about that yet either.

You mean I spent almost my whole day driving to Carlisle, getting completely lost, being stressed that I wouldn't get tickets? You're kidding! They told me on the phone that in person was the only way, and I told them I was almost 2 hours away! Grrrrrrr.

could you explain to me how you did that because i have been trying to get my friend who lives in carlisle to go get them but she works in shippensburg so shes been unable to get them.
