not much hope on this one - so far students only and they don't even
have enough tickets for the students that are there (a very small
venue) - I've been
emailing w/ a very nice girl and she said she'd let me know
more when plans are set.
I've got more hope for CT and NJ.

Yes, I heard the same thing from a friend who knows someone that goes there.

Here is the response I received from the NH College:

Thank you for your interest in the David Cook concert scheduled for Monday, March 30th at Colby-Sawyer College. We’re very excited to host his performance! Here is some information on our ticket sales:

Tickets are available for Colby-Sawyer Students as of Monday, February 9th and then to employees the following week for $15.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Monday, February 23rd at the cost of $15 per ticket.

Due to the popularity of the show, we are expecting to sell out very quickly. We are not expecting that there will be tickets available to the general public. If tickets are available they will go on sale on the 23rd. To find out if tickets are available you may call the College’s box office at 526-3670. There will be a recording left on the phone as to whether there are tickets and how to access them. Please note that we can not accept credit cards and will not accept orders for tickets left on the phone. Due to the volume of calls we will not be returning any calls about David Cook left at the box office.

Thank you for your interest!

Well, it is nice that he is so popular.
What do you think that means that they do not accept credit cards, do you have to go there to get tickets?

I may just drive up after work that day to hang out a bit... I've been meaning to get back up there, as I did graduate from CSC. It's quite beautiful there. I do know quite a few faculty and staff, so maybe I can get one of them to get me a ticket if any are left by that point. :-D

Annnnnnnnndd.... the Sawyer Center Theater is really small, like really small. I'd say the liklihood of tickets available to the general public is gonna be pretty slim.

I called this college and asked a friend that goes there about this and I got the same response from both. As of right now, it's only open to the students and staff and if there are any seats left (which there probably won't be I was told) they will be sold to the general public on February 23rd. What the hell David! Why would he pick such small venues so his fans can't go? :'( Even the Conneticut ones are most likely closed to the public. WHY??? I'm going to cry. But I'm trying to be optimistic and call the colleges in CT and everything. I NEED to see David. My mom is even letting me skip school to go to one of the concerts! And will let us stay overnight after! Ugh! I hate disappointing news :'(

this is so frustratingggggg, i want to go so badly and the 3 places around me either arent open to the public or will most likely be sold out before they are available to the public!! UGH!

New London, NH is up near Lake Sunapee. About 2 hours away from south of the New Hampshire border (near Massachussetts)

Thanks DCDarling! so it sounds like it would take me about 3 hours from RI....may be a bit too far to try and just "show up" and hope for tix!! (assuming there would be any last minute tix released.....)

What she said... lol.

If you're a skier, Mt. Sunapee is also close by. Also about half an hour south of Dartmouth College, which is in Hanover, NH.

I'm from Boston....oddly, no Massachusetts dates...but I'm praying that there will be tickets available to the general public on 2/23! To see David and his men in this small venue would be sublime! I guess David wants younger fans...or his management does. It's evident from this "Light On " Video...younger fans are the target maket.
I guess I get the thought behind it...we're just thrown under the bus for it to happen.
Still a Fan,
~J.

I would love for him to come here too! I saw the idols in Manchester last summer and loved it...its such a great town. Im from Maine so unless he comes way up here, Manchester would probably be the closest.
