 I am SOOOOOO thrilled to have him coming back to Tulsa again!!! Maybe THIS time I'll get to meet him...get an autograph...something? I AM, after all, the 11,000 votes he won by, according to my hubby...LOL! I seriously do want to meet/greet him....etc.....& I still offer my beachfront on Ft Gibson Lake for him to relax on.... The reply they got back from the student activities coordinator was that this show isn't confirmed yet. This is the show that I would really love to go to, but I am thinking it's gonna be really hard to get tickets to this one. |

The event will be held in the Great Hall in ACAC on April 25, time to be announced. TU will be the last stop on Cook’s tour, in which he will play at universities and colleges across the nation. The 25-year-old is an alternative rock singer/songwriter who also plays the guitar and the bass. He won Urban Tulsa Weekly’s “Absolute Best of Tulsa” award for having the best locally produced, independent album in 2007. I will be devastated if tickets aren't open to the public. I noticed that some of the colleges on David's tour dates are open to students only!

Someone on DCO said that the show is going to be at the same place they play basketball! That should be a big place! Hopefully that will make more tickets available for the public!!

I called today. And they told me it was students only, no public sales. I live in Tulsa and was absolutely going. Really disappointed.

SA is happy to announce American Idol winner David Cook will be playing a concert in the ACAC Great Hall on Saturday, April 25th, 2009 to celebrate the end of the school semester. The show is already SOLD OUT to the general public. Tickets will be available for student pickup starting after Spring Break. More information to come soon. ????? I've been watch their website daily and never saw anything about tickets being on sale to the general public. |

I know I'm not the only one looking for a ticket to see DC in Tulsa. BUT I may be the only one who already paid for a flight from Brazil to Oklahoma just to see this show. I'm kind of desesperated now.

WOW - no one has posted for awhile. So I will............
I got tickets. My mom and dad are big time aqlumni and I implored them PLEASE.............................. So I will be there. I'm excited and won't deny it. Lu, I truly hope you got tickets. I know when you want something badly how hard it is if you are denied. Guys, hopefully I will be able to post pics and videos. I have great ones from KC but haven't figured out how to upload them yet. I will keep trying but it may take awhile. Will try to give a recap after TU. Julie |
