This is the first article I've seen where they say he's from Houston... funny. I've also never seen him referred to as "alternative" before either.

Is this one of those impossible ticket situations?
Do you have any idea of the size of the venue, or is it outside?
It would be a blast to meet up there if it worked out by some miracle.

the website is really confusing - i can't even begin to explain it - but basically you could get reserved seats now but it will cost you like $180 bucks or so, or you can wait until 3/26 and it will be like $80 or maybe less.......right now we are still just thinkin about it and decided to wait until 3/26 and take our chances.....

I was on the website too and I live like an hour from where it is and used to go all the time.. the last year i went was 2006 and saw ashlee simpson. I posted this on another board and I think sunfest i so not worth $180 It is pretty much a street that they close off and they have music and art for a couple of days. it used to cost me like $10 or $15 dollars to get in and that was it. you can go on there website and they have a map of the event. you can walk the whole thing in 30 minutes. its fun at first but everything of couse is over priced. I am of cource going but im going to wait till 23rd to buy my ticket. you can buy a 1 day club pass for $60 but that dosnt get you in the event you still have to pay to get in and then a seat for the show.

I got my tickets 1 month ago and got Row G. I just checked and the "best available" is now Row L, so it looks like tickets have not sold very quickly during this private sale, at least up to this point.

I think it's already been said, but if not... Admission is a separate charge from reserved seats. Early bird 1-day admission is $29 and reserved seats are now $24 or less (the most expensive seats are gone). And if you buy online, there is a service charge so you are looking at just under $60 per person without a membership. With a memberships it's just over $180 per person. Oh, and someone on this board got lucky and talked someone at SunFest into letting her buy reserved seats with the one-day $60 SunFest membership. I see that the website has been updated now to distinctly say that you cannot buy reserved seats with the 1 day membership. Hope this helps!
