Kim Caldwell is the one that DC asked out to dinner because of the nice things she said about him the whole season. It's obvious that he is her favorite AI contestant and that they have good rapport and DC is at ease with her. Nice interview. Thanks for this post.

You know what, I actually like this interview. I am hating on Kim C. before (jealousy of course haha) but looking at them now, she doesn't seem so bad. She seems genuinely fond of DC and DC in return is very comfortable around her, revealing bit and pieces of personal info (armpits!) that I only heard here. So everything is good!

I watched it yesterday afternoon and TV and it made me get all teary eyed alll over. They cut it off too soon, but right after the interview they went back to the studio to Justin and Rosanna, and AI's vocal coach and she told a really touching story, or a "powerful" story, as she put it: When they were having rehersals and the Nokia was completely empty with only David on stage and a few production workers...she said that he got on that stage and sang "Time of my Life" like he would never get a chance to sing it again, and he looked at every chair like it was the last time he'd ever be on that stage...
After she described it I couldn't help but get super emotional, because I could just imagine him doing all of that and it truly was powerful. Then there was the whole arm-pit story. That one had be rolling! "That's when I KNEW my life would never be the same again!"

haha i watched that on TV. i was rolling at the armpit story lol.
i suppose theyre cute together, but i never liked her, even before David asked her out. she always just got on my nerves. lol im not sure why though. he attitude is too... perky? |
