I would get tickets and go if I could get a ride. I am hoping orange county fair has david cook. It would be a lot closer. I live over by the lax airport area.

Hey Everyone,
I am going to the David Cook Concert on Thursday, June 18th 2009 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds in Del Mar, California. I have Floor5 Row 4 Seats 13-16.Sounds like I am right smack in dead center of the stage where that good looking David Cook is standing on the stage. Anyway, I will post a long recap from my David Cook Concert experience over the weekend. Hey my fellow word nerds:
CAUTION!!! Please turn on your ceiling fans, or open a window for air before reading my David Cook Concert experience from the Del Mar Fairgrounds recap on here because you may get overheated from the man David Cook. That is why I am posting this caution notice now because I do not want any of the word nerds end up in the hospital because of extreme heat exhaustion from David Cook. David Cook did Meet and Greets through the radio stations before the concert. David also did an interview with Fox5 News that was aired on the 10pm news on Fox5 News. In addition, I had an awesome time at the David Cook Concert. I had Floor5 Row 4 Seats 13-16. First off, Andy Skib takes the stage and soon to follow him was that good looking David Cook. I screamed the top of my lungs off when that good looking David Cook took the stage in my hometown. I could not take my eyes off that good looking David Cook the whole time. I had on my grey David Cook Declaration Tour T-Shirt, flannel jeans and white tennis shoes on. I held up a sign with David Cook's picture that says,"I Love David Cook". David Cook made me feel like I was at a rock concert. David Cook looked directly at me where I was standing on the left side of the stage, and felt like I was be serenaded when he came over to the left side of the stage. DAVID COOK KILLED ME WITH HIS EXTREME HOTNESS! I got overheated, and I was double faning myself a lot when David sanged the new song "Shattered Dreams"just for my show. Meanwhile, David Cook had a hat on a grey shirt, jeans and boots on for my show. I sanged along with David Cook. I also did some American Sign Language signing when David sange "Light On". I screamed the words "I love you David" when David was talking and I heard him say,"Thank You." David told the audience that were very loud for him this time. David felt the love from all of the San Diegan word nerds by screaming and singing along with him. This was one of the best concerts I have ever been to and I will cherish all of these memories forever. The show ended about 8:45pm. After the concert was finished, I asked security if David was meeting fans by the buses and how do I get to the buses, security did not know whether or not David was doing meeting his fans by the buses or not. I went home and I felt a little disappointed that I did not get my chance to meet my "One Tough Cookie" role model David Cook still. If David Cook comes back to my hometown I'll just enter the radio stations contest to win Meet and Greet passes to meet David Cook next time. A Fellow San Diego, California Word Nerd: Christina

This show looks/sounds like it was amazing. There are some stunning pics/videos of the night! I know 'Shattered Dreams' is getting tons of love, and I gotta say....I was never a fan of this song...UNTIL NOW. LOL. I think 'Til I'm Blue' is utterly AMAZING. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this one. David's voice is PERFECT for this. LOVE IT. Thanks to all for sharing their videos/pics! Awesome!
