I heard that David didn't come out after the show last night. I read a rumor that the reasoning for this was that some "fan" had gotten onto his bus at some point.....anyone able to confirm/deny this?

I got the second half of last nights show after security got busy with a fight. sound is great and view is front row . It was a challenge just holding on to the camera because it was 150 degrees in the room and we were all drenched. it was the first time I prayed for a short set to get the eff out of that inferno.

I was there that night. A lady came up to my friend, her mom, and I, and told us that while we were talking to the drummer for Ryan Star. We were asking him if he was still coming, because we were supposed to go to the meet and greet; we had won passes to meet him. The drummer guy told us that he would go find out for us and went inside and we never saw him again.
As far as I know, the story is true. The girl(s) walked in on them changing after the show and they got mad and canceled the meet and greet. I'll be posting something on here about that in the next week. I'm about to leave for a trip to Texas, so it might not be for until next week 'til it gets up.

So, on June 24th, my friend Shelby, her mom, and I went to the David Cook concert, with Ryan Star opening for him. Shelby had won tickets and meet and greet passes from the radio, so we were super excited. So, we get there and, we're "hot as hell" (quoting David there). Then we get inside, and the concert was made of awesome. I am now a fan of Ryan Star. He was wonderful. Check him out!

Anyways, we got a couple things from the merch table afterwards, and were told to wait there until they called us for meet and greet. So, we're waiting and about to pass out from exhaustion and heat, when some old security guy with a fisherman's hat on comes over and tells us to leave, we tell him we're here for the meet and greet, and he says it's been cancelled. So we stand there in shock and we ask him why, and he just says it got cancelled. We walked away from him, and found a production guy that Shelby talked to earlier, and he said that it really did get cancelled, and he couldn't tell us why. But he was way nicer and said sorry about 10 times. So, we went outside, and there were some people from Ryan Star's band including him, and all three of us were pissed like no other. Shelby decides to buy Ryan Star's CD, which I should've done! *headdesk* But, then we talked to the drummer from his band, and we asked him if he knew that it had been cancelled, and he said that he hadn't heard a thing about it. Then some lady overheard our conversation, and told us, "Because fans our stupid." "Why?" "Because fans are stupid." So then, she finally told us that some girls decided to get on David's tour bus while they were changing, and David got mad and cancelled the meet and greet. That really got us worked up. The drummer guy told us that he would go find out for us what happened and went inside, so we thought he was the most wonderful person ever for doing that. So, Shelby went to go talk to Ryan Star and he was really nice and gave her a hug and asked for her Twitter username. That cheered us up a bit. And, then we left.

Now here's what got to me:
First of all, WHERE IN THE BLOODY HELL ARE THE SECURITY AT!? Shouldn't they be standing outside the door of the bus? How stupid can you be to not send out someone to watch the tour bus!!?!?!!
Second of all, why are people so stupid to walk on a tour bus full of people!?!!! I mean, I understand why, but it's not like David would be half naked, see you there, and come over to hug you. No, he would more than likely be yelling at you to get the hell off of his bus! He's had this kind of stuff happen to him before, sadly.
Last of all, why doesn't David trust the rest of the fans that tried hard to get meet and greet passes so that they could meet him! There's always that bunch of fans that are stupid and are willing to do anything to meet him. Just... UGH!



Anyways, that's the end of my story. I say "anyways" and "so" a lot. I'm such a freak.

I had to rant because I made a promise to myself and Shelby.
