Hey hjohnson ! Yeah we drove down yesterday morning, back this afternoon. Such a great show! Loved the opening act & my fave DC song was Lies ... just wish it was longer. His voice seemed a bit tired. Did you notce he messed up the lyrics to Light On ??

It was great! Could hve been longer. He sang Lie so I was happy. The crowd was great & David looked amazing. Bonus, the opening act was pretty great too.

Ok, so that did actually happen eh? I heard it and I'm like wait, what? I noticed it at first too because the woman standing next to me was singing along and stumbled so I thought it was her at first. But once he got to the second verse, I realized he had messed up.

I did think it was short, when they left the stage before the encore I was like no, for real? So soon? Lie was beautiful. It was the only song that I managed to record (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZIRp5RPv3k) because I was moving too much for the rest of it. The sound isnt great because we were like ten feet in front of the speakers but not too bad. I did manage to catch his banter inbetween songs too if you want to check them out.

Guh overall it was awesome. Can't wait until I can go again. They need to get up to Canada and soon. My luck it will be when I'm traveling next year, but if not... boys? Please? It turned out so much better than I could have thought. My friend and I got lost on the way to dinner and stumbled upon the venue. Wavd awkwardly at Kyle who later biked by us to say hi. Saw them tossing around a football but didn't really want to bother them.

Needtobreathe was really awesome and Im looking to see if I purchase their CDs around here. I loved what they did with their last song. Also my friend and I noticed Dave standing backstage for a couple of their songs which I thought was nice.

I thought I saw him backstage too !

And ... how odd is this .. I have just been killing time watching all your favourites of David on YouTube ! I saw the email notification that you had replied in this thread & the name seemed familiar .. that's cause I was on your youtube page right then. LOL !!

I'm actually looking through the other videos I took and did record the first like 45 seconds of Light On where he messed up the lyrics. I was using a new camera and I kept cutting off parts of songs because I would hit the button but hey, if you want to see it, let me know I almost managed to get most of A Daily AntheM which surprises me because I dont even remember recording that song. That is how much of a blur the show was to me.

My fear is that Cook will do what most bands do to our city - skip right over it. I mean, how many go straight from Winnipeg to Toronto? We are a bigger city than Duluth so I guess its possible. The friend I went with is from Ottawa so I told her if he happens to head that way in the fall for whatever reason, I'd fly down to go.
