Is anyone else going to this show? There wasn't much talk about it since it popped up on the website and tickets went on sale today. It still isn't sold out, so anyone in the Kentucky/Ohio/Indiana area should definitely come check out the show.

I am going!!!!!!! Madison is a super intimate theater so it will be nice:) I am still surprised there are tickets.I got up at 10 am because I thought it would sell out in 5 mins.

Well, my friends have convinced me to go to this one as well. This will be #4. I'm normally one of those people that if I see someone once, I'm satisfied but when you get dragged into it...by an Archie fan no less! *sigh* David Cook, you are breaking me friend.

I'm surprised no one else has commented since me. Oh well. Anyway, I'm going to head out in a few hours. I couldn't sleep so now I'm awake *yawn*

It was an awesome concert!! Then we waited outside and got to get autographs and a hug He just seems like such a nice guy, genuinely listening to what people are telling him and responding.

The concert was awesome! Very intimate setting, I was right at the stage so i could get full view of all of his expressions and grins!
This is concert #2 for me....
He came outside afterwards where he signed my "set list" and let us take more pictures. You are the best David!
Can't wait to see you again soon!

So, here's my quick recap. We drove there from the morning so we didn't arrive until about 1:30ish. Met some GREAT people! Once the show started, it seemed like it lasted forever. This will have been my 4th show. I was in the 2nd row, and I could touch the stage, totally awesome! I'll try and post a few pictures later. After the show, my friend got a Neal pick (her favorite) so she was incredibly happy. We went by the buses afterwards and I got David's autograph. In Carrboro I was going to give him this KC Chief's pennant signed by Derrick Thomas but he didn't come out so I gave it to his tour manager so I asked him about it and told him I had given that to him. He was like such a little kid saying "Thank you so much!" then he went on to say that he cried and I said "You cried? Well I didn't mean to make you cry" and he replied "No, I mean when he died. I was in high school and I cried. Must have been the hormones"

Then, my friend could never his attention to sign this card she had so I took it and went to the back of the line and waited, then told him "I saw you earlier but my friend wanted you to sign this." So he looks at it (it was an AI card with a little bit of his info on the back, like a baseball card) and they made a typo by putting "Blue Springs, MI" and he said "Blue Springs, Michigan?! What?!" so he marked it out and put MO in place of it, then proceeded to read the rest of the card for like 5 minutes and rant about how he couldn't believe they messed up Michigan and Missouri. God I love that man So after he handed it to me, I asked him for a hug which he in turn said, "Of course you can!" I can't tell you how excited I was. I wasn't nervous at all; I guess I just see him as the goofy nerd he is. The show was rockin' especially from that close. I still can't believe the spots we got. Wow!

I was there as well.I could really kick myself! My friend had to go to work the next day so staying afterwards wasn't possible and he came out! Like I said I could kick myself! I am surpised there aren't any pics of David floating around yet of him signing after the concert.

I was there, too. I also got my hug from David after the show. He is such a sweetheart. The picture geezlepete took is now my wallpaper. Next stop for me, Knoxville.
