I'm tempted.. but I have something Sunday morning in NJ so I'd have to drive back to Long Island right after the show... and none of my friends like David Cook and will go with me if we aren't going to stay at the casino (not that I have money for a room there...though I didn't check how much they are, I'm just assuming)

........but I'm tempted....

I'll probably go for 1 ticket tomorrow morning and depending on how good a seat I pull up, make a decision from there if I want to do the 3 hour drive by myself. WHY WON'T HE PLAY WESTBURY MUSIC FAIR!!!!!????

Geez, the show isn't even sold out yet and the price gougers are already up on eBay. Frankly, I hope they get stuck with the tickets.

I got tickets for Foxwoods too!! I had a problem trying to get them online, I had 4 different sets of tickets and the last page kept getting an error. I called the box office and was on hold for about 35 minutes before anyone answered. I am in the mezzanine section but the first row. I saw Daughtry there last year at this theatre and I think most seats are good.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How on EARTH did you get front row tix?!? I had TWO computers going RIGHT at 9 AM, and was on the phone FOREVER (<--never did get an operator), and kept getting that the system was crashing, or that there were NO tix available in the $45 category, etc etc..one fiasco after another. i have NO idea why i even continued...but FINALLY after one hour I managed to get 2 tix in center orchestra row W, which i considered a downright MIRACLE by that point in time.

Zoey (zoetica)--- My sister and I saw Jeff Beck at MGM Grand in April. It is a BEAUTIFUL theater, FANTASTIC acoustics!!!!, and probably not a bad seat in the place (although we would all love to be front and center, i know! LOL!!). I am SOOO excited to see Cookie there...will be a totally different experience than Northampton, and will have to go a LOOONG ways to come close to that night!!...but I know it will be awesome there, if only because I know the acoustics are far superior to the Northampton venue. smile.gif The funny thing is that the tix I got for Cookie are only 4 rows behind where me and my sister sat for Jeff Beck, and we loved our seats for that show! smile.gif

Congrats to those who scored tickets to this one! smile.gif
It's funny, I was in line for a show last week at Mohegan, started talking with a couple of girls who turned out to be Cook fans, and mentioned how I wish he'd come to one of the casinos, and that Foxwoods would be much more likely than Mohegan as far as an appropriate venue size... And now here ya go.
Of course with the casinos, you have to deal with the knowledge that the best tickets are rarely, if ever, made available to the public, which is the bummer about it. sad.gif
I tried getting tickets, but their online system wouldn't let me attempt a purchase for about a half hour, and by then, I could only get way-back seats or a single in the Orchestra. I called them and was given a very vague "We never know if more will be put on sale so you have to keep checking back." rolleyes.gif
So I plan on doing that. Lately last minute is when I seem to have the best luck anyway.
I would just like to see him ONCE on this tour. And I'd be happy with "really nice" seats, not looking for a miracle like front row or anything.
I'm hoping I might have some friends in high places and that, after striking out the first three times, it just might happen this time... wink.gif

It was epic fail for me today! The system crashed 3 times, then I was on the phone waiting for 25 minutes for someone to take the call and in the end no floor seats were available at all.

Interesting - I've only heard of 2 people scoring seats closer than Row R. Now, the good news? That kind of implies that a WHOLE BUNCH of good seats haven't been released. That's been pretty consistent with the casino concert experiences in Atlantic City and especially Niagara Falls.

So chin up, and keep checking! I sure will!

I'm hoping for an answer to this too, lol. I've been going to shows at Foxwoods and Mohegan for YEARS, at all the venues each has to offer, and I've never heard of anyone getting front row on the day tickets go on sale... Unless... you happen to be a high roller, a very high ranking tribal member, or have an "in" with one of them or an insider in the box office. Even regular employees aren't given the luxury of buying the best available seats...
Years ago, I used to know the family of the tribal chief. Man, I wish I still had THAT connection... rolleyes.gif

Good to see I wasn't the only one with computer-crashing issues. I have this issue pretty much every time I try to get tickets to Foxwoods. I'm guessing their servers aren't built to handle a lot of sudden activity. I had no better luck with Ticketmaster, and of course, TM hits you with about 4 times the crazy fees.
The best I could get was a single in Orchestra row S. Other than that it was way back in the Parterre or whatever they call it, lol.
I'll keep checking back, and keep looking for someone who knows someone...

I think that most if not all of you will be able to improve your tickets at the box office before the concert. I went to Atlantic City and had great seats (because I had a connection), but all of the DCO and Dash fans who wanted to were able to upgrade at the last minute to great seats. So I wouldn't worry too much. They will release those seats, but not until the last minute.

Good luck to all of you and have a great time!

YA KNOW.... I noticed that too. I got row R but was wondering why only a few got anything closer than that. That WOULd explain it - that they hold back the better seats for the high rollers, etc. BUT - I am encouraged by all that have been to this venue and say the seats aren't bad wherever you are! ;-)
