I'm thinking of traveling to this one. Can anyone tell me which hotels to look into? And also which seating chart I'll need to look at to purchase tickets for his concert?

There are a million good hotels in most every price level in Columbus. You can check out independent reviews on http://www.TripAdvisor.com. Also, for a seating chart, search Google images for "Celeste Center seating" and you'll find it.

Just found out about this concert late last week...since I've been trying unsuccessfully to get tix to a David Cook concert since February, needless to say, I had my butt online at noon sharp to get tix to this show!! I've been to the Ohio State Fair to see Uncle Kracker and Clay Aiken. (Clay was far superior to Uncle Kracker, who couldn't sing good live at ALL!!) Anyways, it's an awesome place to see concerts. It holds lots of people, but still seems like a small venue. I was really surprised to read on the Tickermaster website that the venue holds 10,000! Wow!
I had secured floor tix Saturday at Ticketmaster, but the website must've been overwhelmed, as the page to purchase the tickets never loaded. When I hit reload they were gone.  So I went ahead and bought some tix in the first elevated section. Then, just to see how quickly they were selling, I tried finding 4 more tix. Lo and behold, floor seats came up again!! Center!! SCORE!!!So, I have 4 extra tix if anyone needs some. I will sell them for exactly what I paid, plus shipping.  They are $137, which includes a parking pass. I booked a room at the Ramada. It says it is 3 miles from the fairgrounds. You can find the link to the hotel on the fair website.

Thanks for the info, everyone. But come to find out I forgot that that is right around the time my sister-in-law is due to give birth to my nephew. So I can't make it to this show. I WILL make it to one of his shows eventually! Thanks again!

Boy am I glad I checked out his tour dates last night. I had no idea he was coming to Columbus, Ohio cause I found out about the Louisville, Kentucky concert to late to get tickets. This is only 4 hours away from me and I am considering on getting my tickets asap. I checked out Ticketmaster and they have great seats available but I can't wait. I've been dying to see him and now I get to.

I have 1 extra ticket to this concert. Sec 102 Row Q. I am selling it for $41 which includes all the ticketmaster fees and a parking pass.
I got tickets to shows closer to home and am going to save from money and avoid the travel. Let me know if anyone wants it. I posted it on several boards, if i don't hear anything in the next few days it is going up on stub hub. |

AAAHHHH!!! I'm going to be there! My boyfriend is taking me!
 We are traveling about 2 hours from northern Ohio. This is the second time I'm getting to see David. I'm so excited. I can't wait.

Just 7 days more now! W00t! This will be my very FIRST David Cook concert!!! (Can you believe it...I know, I'm so late to the game...LOL)
Anyways, I have 2 extra tickets available. I'm selling them for just $30 each, which is less than I paid with Ticketmaster fees. I will also include a free parking pass ($5 value). The tickets are section 209, row I, seats 1-2. These are nice, centered seats. Whatever tix are left for sale are way out at the sides. The day the tix went on sale, I "accidentally on purpose" bought 2 sets of 4. As soon as I bought the first set, I wanted to see how quickly they were selling, so I checked again for tickets. Better seats, on the FLOOR came up...so how could I resist??

My girlfriend and I are going! We actually already saw him in pittsburgh the other day, but before we decided to go to that one we already had this one, soooo, seeing him twice in one week. Awesome. It'll be her 5th time. I'm an awesome boyfriend, just saying.

I'll be there! I've actually got 2 extra tickets if anyone needs some. They're in Section 115, Row G, Seats 9 & 10. They're center stage, and the 2nd section from the stage. I'm only asking what I originally paid for them - $28 per ticket or $56 for both.
Does anyone know whether there will be some sort of meet and greet before or afterward? This is will be the 3rd concert I've been to of David's and I still haven't had the chance to meet him yet. |
