What time is everyone planning on being at the venue, since it is general admission? I don't know if I can be there before 4, but I don't know if that is early enough.

I'm not one to be recap happy, but I think this show deserves one.
Waiting out in the heat all the live long day....God, I love GA concerts...don't you? My best friend is my umbrella at the moment. When my friend and I got in line, we understood the rules. The VIP people were in front of us. Luckily, a radio DJ came along the line and sold us VIP tickets. Well worth the little more we paid because it enabled us to go into the pit. The show was amazing. It was like the planets lined up and things were perfect. The audience was stellar. It was the first audience I had been in where they were that enthusiastic. I couldn't get over how long they hollered when the boys left the stage before the encore. I had the widest grin on my face as I scanned the room. How wonderful was that? They also were all over The Crash Kings and they were grinning from ear to ear. Since I am totally in love with that band, I was very happy about that. So well deserved. It was one of those kind of nights where the artists didn't have to pull teeth to get the job done. The audience was there and didn't need any help. I was thrilled for both of the bands. Certainly a wonderful night. Jeannine |
