Hi,
Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone in the Charlottesville, VA area. It was just announced that David will be playing at the Paramount Theater at the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville on Sunday, October 11th at 7 PM. Tickets go on sale 9/1 at 10AM to the general public (those with Paramount Theater memberships can purchase tickets starting today). Apparently this is reserved seating, not general admission. Also so this on the Paramount website:
Electronic Device Etiquette Please remember to turn off all cellular phones, pagers, and electronic watch alarms before entering the theater. Cameras and recording devices of any type are not permitted at any Paramount Theater performance, and such devices brought into the theater in violation of this policy are subject to removal. No cameras??? Oh no! |

 I wonder if it is up to the artist's discretion at all or if it is one of those no way, no how type of places. The venue looks beautiful!

Bought my tickets Row F Andy side...I would have loved center but oh well.
hey alwaysforcook... I'm right beside you 11 & 13. yea the seating chart was very confusing but the rows seemed curved so they may be decent seats. hopefully the camera thing is up to the artist! if not I will just smuggle mine in  |

I got my tickets in the mail today and on the back of them it says:
The use of cameras, video, or audio recording equipment is prohibited unless otherwise indicated by the venue, artists or promoter of the event. also I found these pictures of the inside of the theater...sorry they aren't the best... but you can get an idea of the setup...I actually found my seat in the pic:)

Thanks for posting those pics! So much easier to judge where our seats are than the lousy seating chart on the theater website. Can't wait for the show

Yay! I actually found my seat in that bottom pic! Not sure who'll be the opening act for David (Tonic is opening at some shows in late Sept and then I heard Safetysuit or the Script in October), but GRO is playing in Charlottesville with Needtobreathe on Sept 23rd at the Is Venue: http://www.isvenue.com/displayEvent.php?mid=93 . I adore GRO and I may go to that show.

I just had to bop in here because this show is my next show and I can't wait. The venue does look beautiful and the last few times I have seen David outside. This show will remind of both my seat and the setup in Radford in April last year.

RYAN STAR is opening for David and the Band!!!!
he posted the link to his blog and tour dates on Twitter Ryan's Blog I am sooooo excited,I never got to see him when he was touring with them before! also is anyone going to try to meet them before the show? I don't know how early I should get there... I have never met them so if anyone has any tips please share

I'm trying to make this show. I'm about 95% sure that I can, but I just found out that I could make it last week, and I don't have tickets yet. If anyone has any extra, let me know! If not, I'm probably going to end up in like the 18th row. xD But that's okay, I don't care how bad the seats are, I'd be content with anything.
And Thosesweetmmrs, I try to get there at noon or earlier. Once I got to the show late at like 2, and the band had already come out and I missed them.  But yeah, as early as possible is usually good.

I need tickets to this show, and I already posted it in the ticket exchange thread. I want to try to get better seats than row O, but I don't want to pay more than face value.
