I've been to the National before and in front of the bal seats is a row of tables that are for donor patrons only. We in the seats weren't allowed to stand, but the people at the tables were and sometimes blocked our view. Just sayin'. I won't be in the bal this time. |

http://www.theparamount.net/calendar_shows_davidcook.aspx DC will be in Charlottesville Sunday night prior to the show at the National. Makes me wonder what he'll be doing on Monday.... my house is in between the two.

I've been to the national before (i saw archie with my niece) we were in GA area it was fun. I have a question the upper level is there away to get those or are they sold out? Archie had a pretty good crowd when i went there but cook is going to have alot more of a crowd so i pray i get a good spot to stand.

I don't think she wants to stand the whole time and she was curious about the balcony I was there before and i was fine with the standing but when she was there she just got her foot worked on and it was hurting her badly.. it's a bit better but she can't stand on it for too long. Thanks for the info!

The last time i was there and i didn't know this but if you go in the restaurant (next door) you get a special thing so you can go inside early. That's what i was told when i talk to some woman there LOL.

I'll be leaving straight from work for this one and driving back right afterwards. Two hours isn't so bad. I haven't done a standing David show since Carrboro so it should be interesting!

Saw on Ticketmaster this morning that DC&TA now has an opening act listed for The National.

Oh so cool! I really liked Ryan Star in Williamsburg. I work in downtown Richmond so I will be walking over after work that day for dinner then the show. Can't wait! Is it October yet?
