My husband saw on Larry King's website that they have David scheduled for Monday, June 15th. They are taking email questions & he's supposed to discuss his life without his brother & touring stuff.
Hope it's true - I'll have to DVR it - I work. |

I just sent in 4 or 5 questions. I hope they use them! One was about the tour -- that some nights he's playing to a few hundred people in a small club, other nights he's in front of thousands at a festival, so how does he tailor his shows to appeal to different types of audiences and venues? Another was about the song writing process, what comes first music or lyrics, and how do you write a song with someone else, especially someone you've never met before or someone you admire (like Raine Maida.) There was also something silly about the gator head and the rubber chicken.

Oooo now I have to think what I want to ask him...or more than one! I don't know if anybody noticed, but it looks like you can video tape yourself asking David a question and then you can upload it onto the page. I saw someone had done that. I'm at work right now, so I couldn't view her question, because my stupid computer's Flash isn't up to par...grrr. Oh well. I want to do that, but I'll probably look and sound like a dork! Well time for lunch and time to think about the question(s) I want to ask him. Oooo I can't wait to see him

I have very high hopes for this -- Larry did a very good interview with DC last year just a few days after the AI finale, even though Larry's pretty clueless about AI -- didn't matter. The thing about him is, he's always in the moment - he asks questions that are real to him -- and one of the great things about DC is that HE's always in the moment too, especially during interviews -- they really connected last year, so I think this is gonna be excellent. I think it's incringing a bit on DC's vacation -- wasn't he supposed to be off till the 18th??? NEMO Cougar |

I'm excited too, even if Larry is clueless about most everything. I set the DVR, got an email from DCO about it. I can't think of anything good that everyone might like to know, I know a few silly ones, but I doubt they would pick any of them. I don't think I can come up with one in time, oh wait, nope, that was a question I had for his mom. I could ask him to clarify to the world how much he weighs and exactly how tall he is, lol.

*sigh* Was anyone else bummed to find out he'll be sharing the hour with Jeff Foxworthy? I don't mean any disrespect to Mr. Foxworthy, I just really would have enjoyed an hour dedicated to David, his music and ongoing support of cancer research. And, selfishly, the puppy parent in me would love to hear more about Dublin.

I'm very excited to see David on Larry King tonight
 To have an entire half hour (well maybe not quite with commercials factored in) with just him speaking about various things and since he's so well-spoken-------just can't wait. Just voted too (David has 53% of the vote-YAY!). Favorite idol winner...........around here that's a no brainer

Does anyone know if he is actually IN Atlanta? Or will it be a satellite interview? I imagine he is here b/c Larry King normally has guests in studio.

I'm watching it now. So far Larry hasn't come across as too clueless.
WTF? LK spent about 20 minutes with David, but didn't entertain any questions from email, twitter, etc. Now we have Heidi & Spencer on. Ugh! |
