Has anyone noticed that the AC initials have disappeared from David's guitars and clothing in recent appearances?
Has there been any explanation as to why that I've missed? |

The AC is on David's Les Paul Guitar - he had the guitar at the David Wright Foundation Gala and also the Album Release Party/Concert.

Maybe the reason for the AC not being on the clothes is that he's not on TV. if they were placed there while he was on idol as a nod to his brother or brothers watching at home, there really isn't a point in doing it when the events aren't televised since adam and adrew can't see them. (i mean there is Youtube and the christmas stuff has been seen on TV but it's an opinion).
I don't think he wore their initials on the tour either. Also, to a large audiance on, say NBC, who doesn't know the story behind the AC, it might be a distraction |

I noticed AC missing from AMA red carpet, Rockefeller performance and the recent Disney pictures. It just makes me curious if its a conscious decision or the networks are putting a kabosh on it for some stupid reason. In the past, it seemed to be very important to him.

Maybe to avoid people from saying that 'people only like him because of his brother' kind of thing..
I've seen a few comments from You-know-who's fans who are still bitter of David winning AI, so maybe that's why the AC initials hasn't been seen much since AI.. |

he uses the guitar from the parade performance for his acoustic porformances it seems. besides that i believe his other two main guitars have the initials. and the guy does have the initials on his arm for life so he doesn't exactly need the initials on his clothing all the time show his love for his brothers. i don't think there's any big thing about it. i think he prefers to display the initials in televised like dcscribe said so his brothers can see.

I did not notice it until reading this thread. He did not wear it for the tour, maybe it was mainly for the AI show. He does have his tatoo so that is all he needs. wessel36214 |

hmmmm..I noticed that too, none of his new guitars or anything have the AC but I hope he brings it back! I loved the AC, it symbolized so much and seemed to be really important to him, people also recongize him from the AC les paul orginal guitar cuz I find that when ppl dont know who Im taking about they say " o the guy with the white guitar with the AC?" so it def. is a signature for him =) I hope he brings it back! =)

He retired his white AC guitar because it's obviously something sentimental to him. I'm pretty sure he said it's hanging on a wall in his house now.
