Cleveland 9/4 single ticket available!!

Hey all those going to the show, I have an extra ticket. I bought it when I thought I was going alone. I'm now sitting in section 103 with a friend.

What would Weird Al do to David Cook???

Wasn't sure where to post this, so I am alright if someone moves it to a better location.

I was just checking out Weird Al's site, and it occured to me (duh) that someday Cookie may be the honoree of a parody.

I love Weird Al Yankovic. I have seen him twice in concet and his shows are terrific. Even if you dont know the words..his actual show is filled with comedy and you will have a good time. His interview spoofs are classic!

Anyways, I was checking to see if he was coming to Ohio any time soon. Nope...dammit! Well, then it dawned on me that there are some artists, most notably Nirvana, that felt they had "made it" when Weird Al parodied them. So what do you think he would do to David Cook's music? Anyone want to test their inner geek skills and venture a guess?

July 20th in Columbus

I live in Akron (duh) and have gotten the "bug" to make the trip to Columbus for the chance to meet DC and the rest before the show. I am going to the 9/4 show in Cleveland. I just can't wait that long to meet them all!

Can anyone give me info on what/where/who is going to be there?

I am very familiar with the Schott as I just left OSU to xfer to U of Akron. Let me know what is going on and maybe I can make it to at least the event before the show.

I doubt I'll stay for the aftershow gig as I don't have tix and its supposed to thunderstorm that day. Meeting them before..if it happens...will be good enough until my concert in Sept.

American Idol conspiracy theory!!!

I really need to go to bed...I am starting to get slap happy....

So I was sitting her listening to my own AI greatest hits CD I burned and suddenly I was struck by a common link to all the superstars of this program. Not just the winners, mind you.

So here's my theory.....

If you want to make it big on American Idol...or afterwards...you must have a name that has a "C" or "K" sound at the beginning of one of your names.

Examples:

Kelly Clarkson
Clay Aiken
Carrie Underwood
Chris Daughtry
David Cook

I guess this gives KLC , Jason and Carly hope? I love Jason and Carly...not such a big fan of KLC.
