They are annoying and are evil. No one should be subject to the type of torture they do because it's not fair!
I have a pop up blocker, but they are still there, like mosquitos to your ear. Help me get rid of them! |

I'm on IE, though I don't know what version it is. There are days when the pop ups get too much, there are days when they are virtually gone.

You should jump ship and join the FireFox crew
 Serioulsy..IE is so vulnerable.... Firefox is more secure, not to mention all the neat little addon including ADBLOCK. FF is all I use and I don't get popups. In a rare instance I'll find something that doesn't run in FF so I have to run IE and it doesn't make me happy lol |

I'm with you Karen. I switched to Firefox and also added the add block. Sometimes I have to disable the add block to do something but with it on I get NO Popups at all. With IE it was driving me crazy! Not to mention my anti viral always sent warnings when I was running IE.

i get pop-ups too. on firefox and safari. its always the same one too, that weird weight loss one. is my pop-up blocker not setup right or something??

I don't get ANY pop-ups on Firefox, and I have blocked the most common ads (the google ads at the top, along with the CookBot ads).
Definitely download Firefox and use the AdBlock add-on found here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/10 If anyone would like a list of the ads that I have found so far to block on d-c.org, please PM me. |
