Always Be My Baby

always be my baby was always my favorite DC performance. from his voice to the way he made it a pop/rock song just...everything. there's nothing like the live version of him performing it.
i have to say though the studio version is a disappointment. its not his fault its just that they changed it. instead of this souful, raw, rock song they mmade it this kind of sweet simple tune. the first thing i dont like about it is taht when they hit the chorus the live version has this intense sort of violin in the background and the way david sings it almost brings forward tension. in the studio version he sings sweetly to the guitar acoustics. then that final "you will linger on" in the live version he really gets this beautiful, clear ring to his voice. in the studio version he takes the note higher and it loses its souful sound.
how about everyone else? agree/disagree?

did you guys know that kara is actually 38 years old???!!!!
i cant believe that! ok i know this may come across to some people as "OH MY GOD how could you just announce someone's age on the internet??" but seriously its not an insult. i think shes gorgeous and she looks much younger.

is it any name in particular? like mamma or Ma? just wanted to know. also, can anyone give me some words southern people use other than "ain't". im just a long islander and i know nothing about this! thanks!

hey word nerds, its great to be back on this site after such a long time. ive just been busy and havent gotten a chance to go on lately.

i need some help from you guys. im auditioning for a play called Nobody's Perfect (cue half of you reading this begin singing the hannah montana song!). i am auditioning for the part of Deedee, a 17 year old girl. i have looked everywhere on the internet, but i can barely find any information on my character. i recently ordered a copy of the script to help me prepare. are there any theatre geeks on this website that can provide me with some information on thise character? maybe you've done the show yourself? if anyone finds a video/article/ANYTHING please let me know! thanks so much.

Rent Is Closing!

tomorrow the musical rent is closing! i love that show so much and im so pissed its not going to be on broadway anymore. i loved it so much i saw it 3 times including when adam pascal and anthony rapp went in for the leads again! anyone else sad to see this beautiful show close?
