Attention: Portland, OR Fans - Save the Date! Registration will begin soon!
If you would like to start a team please feel free to post a link to your team page in this forum. This is also a great place to recruit fellow D-C.orger's for your event. 4th Annual Portland Brain Tumor Walk Saturday, September 12, 2009 Visit www.BrainTumorWalk.org to register, start a team, recruit fellow team members, donate, volunteer, and more. In 2008 over 500 people participated and raised over $100,00! |

Hey Everyone!
I just got off the phone with the West Coast office of the National Brain Tumor Society. Right now, there is no place to register for the Portland Walk at the link listed above in Danielle's post, but the Portland event will have it's own site where you can register your team or donate money very soon. I have asked them to contact me as soon as the site goes live, and I will post here for those of you who want to participate in this event! ~bluespirit |

We formed a team called "Otter Pop Friends" in honor of his love of otter pops. Please feel free to join if you are in the Portland area in September! We would love to have you as part of our team. LimeGreenLemon, I'm sorry to hear about your Dad. How awesome that you are able to honor him in this way.
I will be participating as well. Squeezil and I have started a team, and although we're getting a late start, I'd like to invite anyone interested to join us. We've called ourselves "The Tumor-Nators: Fans in Support of David Cook." Here is the link to the page if anyone would like to sign up: http://www.braintumorcommunity.org/goto/Tumor-Nators We would like to have as many Oregon Cook fans as possible join us for the walk. No pressure to fundraise. The registration fee is $25, and if enough of us register and join up for the walk, that will be fundraising in itself. Here are the details: Date: September 12, 2009 Location: Willamette Park, Portland Registration: 8 - 9 AM Program and Activities: 9 - Noon I hope some of you will choose to join us.
