My Rochester Review - Pre-Show & Concert, lots of pictures & videos!

This day was such an awesome one, it was all worthwhile getting there early to meet the Idols! So while you're reading this review I tend to ramble and say the same thing a lot, so sorry if that happens! And I'm also a fan of Archie so I might (okay I will) ramble on about him a bit... This is VERY LONG!!

So me and my mom get to the arena a little after one, and when 12:30 started to roll around while we were in the car I was like oh no, what if they came out already!! I was kinda freaking out, looking at the clock almost every minute, because there was a small chance that they were already meeting fans! But then when we got there I just started to see them letting the huge line of people waiting outside into the arena, so then I knew where to go and that they hadn't come out yet! Huge sigh of relief there for me.

~PRE SHOW~
So me and my mom get in there and obviously all spots right up front of the line are taken, so we go to the end of the line (which is what it seemed like I guess) where it wasn't too crowded. So we're standing around for almost an hour, and then Archie's dad is up on this balcony thing and a bunch of people start screaming! Of course haha. I wasn't by a lot of screamy people though so that was good! Then about 15 minutes later I'd say, Michael comes out! More screams. So he comes to the "end" of the line first! But of course I don't have a spot too close up front so I tried to stick my picture out there for him to autograph but he missed me. And some other girl tried to hold it out there for me (thank you if you're on here and reading this) but he still didn't see it and sign it. But I was like oh well, and I wasn't going to go chase him down incase someone else came out! So then at about 2:30 Archie and Kristy came out one after the other, and not too soon after Chikezie, Syesha, and Jason came out also. When Archie came out there was tons of screaming and a bunch of girls went and migrated over to where he was so I got a spot up at the front of the tape, ha! So then I for sure wasn't going anywhere! So Kristy came over first and Archie was shortly behind her, and she's so sweet!! I got a picture with her. Then when Archie was getting closer his arms were getting even more full with gifts and this one bag was about to fall out from under his arm so he asked this one girl to get that and put it back under his arm before it fell, LOL. He's too cute. So when he was really close I was like oh wow, he's really gorgeous and his eyes are amazing. I should probably add that I'm 15 (in a week ) so uh yeah haha. So he comes and signs my picture and I asked if I could have a picture with him and he's like, "Oh sure yeah, just one second" because this little girl next to me was just dying for his autograph, haha. So he signed her paper and she said, "Can I have a picture too?" And he said yeah. So he gets ready to take a picture with me and my mom has the camera ready but the little girl goes and stands next to him thinking he was going by her and he's like, "Wait, which camera. *laughs*" LOL. There was this one video of him on youtube somewhere else saying that, the boy gets a little confused often! Then I think the girl realized or her grandma (I think) that was with her told her it was my turn so she moved to the side haha. So then we took the picture and ah we were really close and touching, I was like woah Archie just touched me haha. Then after he took the picture with the little girl he was signing someone elses picture and his phone started ringing (well, vibrating), he looked a little annoyed because he was with his fans. So he goes over by to the side, facing this window and is talking on the phone for about a minute. So while he's on the phone this one girl walks by the window outside and starts totally freaking out! Everyone started laughing, it was so hilarious. Plus she was holding hands with her boyfriend and he was just like uhh... LOL. I think he might not have known who he was at first, haha! There's a video of that I didn't take but I'll post the link at the end, it was priceless! I don't know if that girl ever came inside or not. Anyways, then after he was done talking on the phone someone asked him if that was Cook on the phone (that was a bit rude, sorry if it's anyone on here) and he said, "Yeah." And then the person was like, "What did he say?" And Archie was like, "Um, stuff..." He seemed a little uncomfortable, that was a bit rude. But other than that, Archie was so sweet to everybody!! He got so many gifts, it was ridiculous haha! Then Jason, he was really sweet too! He didn't shave, and a bunch of these girls were all over it! His hair is like really soft though, in the pictures and on tv most people would never think that haha! I got a picture with him too. Then Syesha came over, and she's really gorgeous and her hair is amazing! She was really rushed and tried to autograph everyones things and get pictures with people. And when she was about to leave she came to me and was like, "Wait, did I get a picture with you?" And I didn't so that was really sweet that she remembered she didn't and asked me! So then we got a picture and she had to leave. Chikezie was like right there but I didn't get his autograph or pictures because I was with Syesha! I was like aw man, oh well. Then about half an hour later at 3:30, massive screaming for who else but COOK!!! Everyone freaks out, and I notice he keeps walking and comes to where I'm standing first!! And I was right up front! So first thing he says so everyone can hear, "Okay guys, here's the deal: I have only 10 minutes to try to get around to everybody so I won't be able to take pictures with people." But at that point I didn't really care because he was RIGHT there in front of me!! And I was so happy when he took my picture to autograph, I got a little shaky there and every other moment he was around! The only words I could spit out of my mouth to him (and most of the other Idols too, I was a bit starstruck haha) were, "Thank you!" but I think those are the most important words you could possibly say to him! I got a video of him signing things for people, you can't hear him talking (you hear all the other people around) but you can see him! So while he was signing things for the 10 minutes he spent with us I followed where he was going along with so many other people and tried to take pictures of him but I mostly got his hat because I'm so short haha. Then when he had to leave I was like aww but SO happy! I was suprised I didn't cry yet from all the mixed emotions. Then a couple minutes later, Ramiele comes out! Everyone was amazed by how tiny and cute she was, haha. She was really happy when she got this idol forums yearbook thing that these girls made one for all the Idols. They were really cool and all the Idols loved them! Then after Ramiele, Brooke and Carly came out! Brooke got voted "Most Talkative" in the yearbook and she sure is! Her and Carly were standing there reading all of the superlatives, haha. I got a short video of them two talking to each other. They stayed around us for quite a while, and I got a picture with Brooke! She loved us and said that us Rochester people are such nice people!

So that was it for meeting the Idols, and that was all of them!! Then me and my mom went to eat at this cool place called Dinosaurs, and if anyone lives around Rochester you probably know what place I'm talking about haha. Like everyone that was going to the concert went there, and we had to wait an hour and a half to get a table to eat. But we still had 2 and a half hours left so that was alright. We met some cool people there when we were waiting to eat, and this one older guy was jealous that I met Ramiele cause he loves her, and he brought two credit cards with him to buy her today LOL. And the people we were talking to didn't know you could've went early and met them, and they'd been there early! The guy that wanted Rami was especially disappointed, haha.

~CONCERT~
Then the show!! Me and my mom got there about 20 minutes before the show started, I bought some pins and the glow stick type thing from the merch table. I was going to buy a shirt or two but they're cheaper online and they didn't have my size. So we got in our seats just a little before 7, we were on the floor and our seats were about in the middle of the floor, not bad. Then they did the whole poptart dance thing and blah blah blah, haha. Then Chikezie came on! He was really good, I think a lot better live than on tv and he really has a personality when he's performing. Then Ramiele! She has a really powerful voice, like wow. And there was this one guy with a big head sitting a couple rows infront of me and his head kept getting in the way because Rami is so short LOL. So I switched seats with my mom and then I could see perfectly. Then MJ! I really loved the We Will Rock You/We Are The Champions opening, it was awesome! And before he sang Dream On he was like, "This is the song that got me voted off. *a bunch of AWWs throughout the crowd* But I heard that this won't get me kicked off the tour." That was cute. Then KLC, and she was a lot better live than on the show, IMO. She talked about how this one woman gave all the Idols dogtags before the show that say Support Our Troops (or some variation of that) because the womans husband is in Iraq. Then Kristy dedicated God Bless The USA to everyone who's fighting/fought for our country, which was really sweet. Then was Carly, and her voice is just wow, as if you didn't know that already haha. I don't think she really said anything between her sets so I think that's all I have to say about her... Then was Brooke, and I think she's another one who is better live than on tv! (Sorry if I'm a bit repetitive, I don't have many ways to say things haha) She talked about the idol forums yearbooks during her set, and she said that they were really cool and, "So they have things in them like, Best Smile: David Archuleta *screams from crowd*, Best Laugh: David Archuleta *more screams from crowd*, then Biggest Dork: Brooke White!" LOL she was so cute and dorky when she said that! Then after her was Jason, and he told us it took him a while to learn how to say "Rochester" LOL. He's so goofy. And then was Syesha, and man she has such a powerful voice, and did an amazing job on all her songs, I loved Umbrella! She mentioned that the people who created Syesha's Faneshas were in the audience, so she gave them a shoutout. Then of course, Archie! He was SO GOOD. He started out with Angels on the piano, and he really powered it. Then he sang Apologize which is one of my favorite songs! I think he sings it better than One Republic. Then was Stand By Me/Beautiful Girls, and now I'm wishing I recorded that! Oh well, but it is on youtube. He dedicates that song to all his fans for "standing by me!" When sang the part, "And all you beautiful girls..." he points throughout the audience for all the girls and the screaming went through the roof LOL. His dancing in that song is really cute. Then he finished it up with When You Say You Love Me, and before he sang it he said something like, "And this is another one of those mushy love songs I like to sing. *laughs*" But he is just really really amazing! So then of course, COOK!!! Lots and lots of screamming!! Hello was... *thud* That's all I have to say. Then Time Of My Life, aww I got all happy! It was like watching him perform it on the AI Finale, I'm suprised I didn't cry! Then I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing was so fantastic, I love that song. And unfortunately I didn't get that whole song recorded because my memory card and batteries went out within like 10 seconds of each other, but fortunately I had extras! Then was My Hero, which he dedicated to Adam of course. That song is really great and touching. Then was Billie Jean, and with the smoke and everything, wheww!! I should add that before the encore I looked around to see if anybody was leaving, but I didn't really see many people that moved, so that was good! I would tell the KC hat joke and about his 12 wives since the tour started, but I think you guys have heard those stories already haha. Then was Please Don't Stop The Music, and yeah you guys know that we have had the best Mavid dance... so far!!! I was recording it and was like AHH OMG HILARIOUS and a lot of the audience enjoyed their dance!! And Archie jumping up and down to get the noise up for Cook was WAY cute.

And when you click on a picture if you click "All sizes" above the picture it makes it bigger! But they're still way smaller than the originals, my pictures were ginormous! And the pictures of the concert aren't the best because my camera can't take pictures from far away for crap, but the pre-show ones amazing! There are a lot of Cook's hat, haha.

I really hope you guys appreciate all the media, I ran into quite a few problems and it just takes a long time to convert and stuff! That would be why it took me so long to get this review up!
