Our concert isn't until Wednesday but we went ahead and drove up to see them today

Here's my official review of the meetings and then my pics, be prepared to read cuz I tried to be as descriptive as possible:

So was today not the highlight of my life or what?!!!!!

Drove 90 miles to meet this seasons Top Ten American Idols and we ended up meeting 3/4 of them!!!! 7 to be exact.

I'll try and add as many details as possible about all our encounters.

Kristy Lee came through first. I wasn't really impressed. She's VERY pretty but when Kayla asked for a picture with her she snapped, "I can't do pictures just take a pic while I'm signing autographs." I realize she was pressed for time, but I think it could've been worded a tad different. I did tell her congratulations and she said like the nicest THANK YOU ever

Syesha came next. She was sweet, signed and took pics with people. She wasn't very talkative or interactive but she wasn't rude or mean. Just quiet!

Omg Ramielle is precious. I just love her to death. She wasn't one of my favorites on the show but she's a doll in person. I'd totally chill with her. She was all bouncy and giddy and was taking pics and signing for anyone and everyone that asked! She just made me happy. Not to mention she's so damn little, I just wanted to hug her!

Brooke was by far the nicest girl out of everyone and I knew she would be. She was very talkative with the fans. We asked her if Carly was alright since we saw her get off the bus limping and she told us that she hurt herself the night before but that she was still gonna perform. She said she'd tell her that we asked about her.

Poor Archie. He was being RUSHED. He came through and signed autographs for everyone and apologized 3500 times for not being able to do personal pics. He was so nice. He gave me a high five on his way by the 2nd time. His smile makes me melt!!

>>side note, Brooke told us that the reason some of them were rushing was because they were filming a breast cancer commercial.

Then Cookie came....I was so ecstatic I can't even describe. When Ramielle was on her way out David asked if he could wear her sunglasses and she let him, it was so cute!!! It took him forevs to come see us because he gave EVERY SINGLE FAN their own personal time. That right there is the reason he won. He was right there interacting with the people who put him in the position he's in. I don't think I could respect someone more than I do him. So he finally came over and he gave me a hug and we took a picture. I had him sign my Analog Heart cd and then I gave him his gift. He was sooooo adorable. He was like "what's this?!" and he looked in the bag and I told him it was an OSU shirt and a book of crosswords. He was like, "now I have an OU shirt and an OSU shirt." Then I pointed out to him that the bag had baseball teams all over it and he looks at it and goes, "nuh-uh?!" and then I pointed out the KC Royals on the bag and he goes, "That is sweeeeet!"

Then this stupid reporter cut between me and Kayla and like threw a recorder in his face and was like, "David, tell me what you think of this crowd of fans." And David just looked at me all confsued and he goes "uh hi, I'm david, who are you?" and he explained that he was a reporter from a radio station and he was like "I just need 10 seconds of your time, what do you think of all these fans out here to see you?" and David goes, "I'll give you 3 seconds, it's awesome." Gosh that reporter pissed me off, how rude is that to just cut between fans and throw a recorder in someone's face?! David handled it very well but you could tell he was upset, and for good reason.

Then he walked over to the people next to us and AS SOON AS THEY GOT READY TO TAKE THE PICTURE I remembered I wanted to congratulate him about Adam's news. And so I yelled, "DAVID" w/o even realizing he was taking a pic [I felt like an asshole too] and he turns to look at me and goes, "what?" and then he was like, "oh I just looked away didn't I?" and I apologized and was like my bad and he was like, "it's ok we can take another." and so they did and then he looked and me and was like, "what?" and I was like "I just wanted to say congratualtions on everything with Adam." and he looked me DEAD in the eye and gave me the nicestttttttt thank you anyone has ever said. He just looked me in the eye and said it really slow like he 100% meant it. It was a great moment. Then some people had their dog there and he bent down to pet the dog and he stuck his butt like right up in the air in our direction and Kayla took a pic and goes, "I got a pic of THAT" and she moved back and so he thought I said it and he jumped to turn the other way while at the same time he yelled "HEY!" and I was like, "well you asked for it!" and he goes, "yeah that was my fault" and he laughed

Then after he got through everyone he ran by and slapped everyone's hand. He was so genuine. I swooned even more. Even though he was a sweetie, I still think something was bothering him. He just seemed to have something on the back of his mind...I hope everything's alright

Jason came by last. Let's just make it a point that I thought he was cute on the show but my goodness he is GOOD LOOKING in person. The pic I have of him does him no justice at all. His eyes about did me in. He looked RIGHT at me. He hugged me before we took a pic too and I didn't even ask for one, it was sooooooo sweet! He was awesome. And the people behind us were playing his AI performances and after I took the pic he leaned over in my ear and goes, "Do I hear me singing?" I cracked up and so did he and I was like "yes you do." The girls next to us were die hard Jason fans and when he heard the song that was playing he started singing to them and I just thought that was amazing because they were totally there for him and I know it meant more to them than he will ever realize.

Micheal, Chikeze, and Carly didn't make it out. But the people we met were awesome possum. Brooke, Cook, and Jason were by far the nicest. I love them even more now than I did before.

oh my gosh!!! what a story!! that is just way too amazing!! and i giggled a few times at some parts like when you gave DC his gift, the butt thing LOL, and then the jason thing LOL i can sooo see him saying/being that way- toooooo cute!! i love jason hes so silly and sweet i met him yesterday [at the saturday chicago show] and i was the happiest girl everrrrrr LOL i was giddy when i saw him come out and walk towards us and then the rest of the day, im still that way haha. he just made my day! and yes isnt he so gorgeous?? daaang!
david cook nor chikeze came out before the show so i didnt get to meet either of them. the only idols i officially met were jason, ramiele and carly.. syesha, brooke, and kristy all kinda skipped/past me so i didnt meet them. [they werent takin their time like the others they were just goin thru quickly n it was early so they had nothin 2 do yet so they didnt seem 2 care as much] i was a few ppl away from michael johns [we were at the end cuz sum started at our end the others started the other side] but he ended up stopping and was like "phew, im done!" in a cute silly tired/exhausted voice so i was like aww =[ plus he was already reely hot cuz the sun had just started coming out awhile before. when he was at the halfway point he turns to his right (our way) and goes "its hot out here!" i was kinda too far to HEAR it but i could read his lips and i could totally c his accent coming from his lips 2 lol. i luved hearing his accent tho when he got closer! from watching him with the other ppl and hearing what he was saying, he seemed like a reely sweet and kind guy. he was nice cuz he took his time with each person signing stuff and takin pix and talking with them and even spoke to a few of the fans' friends on the fone, you could tell he cared bout what was goin on. i wuda reely liked to have met him. and jason was the same way with taking his time with ppl. i wish i wuda talked to him more but i was in too much of shock and nervousness and shyness that i was actually meeting him! LOL and archie got thru half of the crowd and then they told him he hadta go so he ran past the other half that he didnt get to meet and gave them high 5s, and i got one hes super adorable in person. very nice eyes too and not very tall either which is cute 2. his dad was there too mingling with all the fans [he was actually out there for quite a long time, he even stayed 4 awhile more even after archie left]

im jealous jason sang a lil for ya guys out there and how awesome of a day that was lol. specially meeting david cook! i was guna try meetin him after the show but when i got outside, there were SOOOOOOO many ppl out there goin all the way around the bus area. u couldnt even see a half inch gap between neone! it was like 5 or 6 rows of ppl goin from the front of the fence/barricade going back. twas nuts!! not to mention kids and stuff sittin on ppls shoulders. so i KNEW i had no shot at all at meeting him.
even before the show there were quite alot of ppl too. thats chicago for ya, heh. grr. i wish DC came out tho before hand

Oh, gosh...I loved reading this. I graduated from Ohio State University and WISH I could have attended the concert in Columbus! I'm just glad the Idols are now on Eastern time. Your account was awesome and I can't wait to hear more and see more pictures. Thank you so much for sharing!

I knew I should have gone to the Columbus venue early! I was by myself and I didn't want to be alone....lordy! I regret it now! I was at the show and it was very nice, I did get yelled at though, I'll have to share that story later....I'm going to Cincy but everyone says there is no way they are coming out to that one, but I think I will try it anyways...

Me and My friends got there at 9 oclock, we were the first people there, obviously haha. But we set-up our chairs and chilled out until everyone started getting there. I TRIED to study for my classes, but who can study in such anticipation? not me... uhh!

Then Ramiele, sweetest nicest little person ever. She seriously has some kick as hair. Really Truly. And she was sweet, her pants were falling down and she kept pulling them back up. She made me kinda sad... no one asked for her signature really, and she kept asking "Am I just passing you guys?" and we were like "Hekc no!!" and she was happy.

Then, ARCHIE, He's soo sweet, I asked him to sign an autograph for my neice, and he goes "Whats her name?" and I told him "Jami." and he wrote To Jami, and I called my neice to tell her, and she was so freaking excited!!! I'm so happy. I think it's better to do for others than to do for yourself. In my opinion.

David Cook. My friend Ashley and I, we made him a shirt. I'm gunna post pictures so you guys can see it. Anyways. We go "We made something for you!" and he goes, "Hit me with it!" We should have litterally hit him with it, that woulda been hilarious. but i just now thought of it. anyways.
So we show him the shirt, and he goes "wait, you MADE that?" And were like Yea, and he is like "Omg, it's amazing, Hugs?" and hugged us both, kept saying it was awesome. Oh, and then This lady tells him that Ashley would like to marry him,a nd he says "I'm not on the market for marriage right now." and Ashley laughed and said "Well we can be friends..." And he laughed like he laughed during the love guru shaving cream thing, and goes, "Of course." Then.. he signed Ashley's shirt "To MY mrs. David Cook." haha. Aww.
I dont know,he was sweet, and genuine. He stayed outside longer than everyone. I loved him for it. I really did.

Jason got to us when David was talking to us... and skipped us, but then he came back!!! Jason is such a sweet heart, I love him. He stood around talking to us for like 15 minutes and then he went in, but truly I just loved him. He's a nice guy.

What a wonderful day Sunday! I don't have access to uploading my pics until tomorrow, but I promise I will!
Waiting 4 1/2 hours in the blazing sun to meet the Idols was totally worth it--so was the sunburn on my scalp, forhead, nose & shoulders! I would do it over again in a heart beat. I really can't add much as far as the experience goes because they're all spot on...except when Ramiele got to me, I made sure to let her know that she & I just HAD to take a picture because we have the same birthday!! (September 6) She was really excited to hear that, then asked how old I was going to be.... I put my head down & made a pouty face & she goes "Ohhh, it's one of those huh?" And I said "Uh, I'm gonna be 30". She said "I'm going to be 21". I made sure to tell her that it was a good birthday to have. Before she walked off she said "Well Happy Birthday on our birthday!", and I said the same thing back. I just really want to put her in my back pocket & take her everywhere I go!!

I got pics with Ramiele, Brooke, Jason & David Cook. David A was rushed, & I was pretty bummed I didn't get a pic with him. God he's so cute!!! Was also bummed Carly, MJ & Chikezie didn't come out but you can only ask so much from a human being. They were probably tired. I wasn't able to stay afterwards-- the crowd was insanely large & considering the sun kicked my a$$ for hours, I was tired in general. I also had to be up & at work this morning

Can't say anything bad about any of them performance-wise. They ALL sounded just stellar! You will not be disappointed

Advice to future concert goers: Take the day off work, school, whatever- if you want the best chance to meet them, do it when the buses arrive!! And it can't be said enough- please just be respectful. They were more than willing to sign anything, take pictures & accept gifts from us. No need to scream in their faces, grab at them or throw water on anyone. I am horrified of learning that someone after the Columbus show threw water on MJ...It only takes one giant A$$HOLE to ruin it for everyone!

It was so great to meet all of you lovely WordNerd gals!! It was really nice to be able to hang out at the Hall of Fame cafe too & share our stories & pics! Hope to see you all at future shows...especially solo Cook tours!!!

Aw, that is an amazing story! I was at that autograph session yesterday in C-bus, and David Cook truly is as genuine and gracious as they come! I respect him one hundred times more than I did before yesterday, and I really respected him beforehand so that is saying something!! I wished I would've remembered to mention Adams, but I truly was speechless when I met him, I probably forgot my own name for a second there! He is just as sweet as you described, he wished me a happy belated birthday (my b-day was on the finale) when I told him that I had voted for him all night of my birthday, and that him winning was the best birthday gift ever! He is so amazing!

Thank you for sharing your touching story, he really seems to be truly gracious to all of his fans, who are the ones who got to him to where he is, not those rude reporters. )

Great reviews of the show everyone! I attended the Columbus concert, too and thought that everyone was fantastic! I would have loved to have gone early and met them at the tour buses too! Congratulations to everyone who got David's autograph and a picture with him!
