David Cook To The Rescue!

Had to come here and tell my happy little story

I come home from work last night and my husband is ticked off, the cable internet/phone is down. Which means I can't get online!

Cable company says they can't send anyone to look at it until Saturday! NOOO! So I spent last night looking at my internet-less laptop wondering what is going on in the life of D-C.org.

This morning still no internet. UGH! I spend the morning blaring my burned CD of David and clean the house. Couple hours later, I go outside and cable van is working at someone else's house down the street. And I notice it's the same guy who was here to fix the internet earlier in the summer. I remember him so well because once he got everything working last time we had a half hour conversation about David Cook (D-C.org is my home page and was the first thing that opened when we checked my internet connection).

So I walk down the street to his van and ask him if there is an issue on our street. He says, "No" and then looks at me. "I remember you. Aren't you the David Cook fan/stalker, well not really stalker but you know what I mean" And we start laughing. LOL I say yep that's me! So he says, he'll come have a look even though I'm not on his list of scheduled stops.

He fixed it pronto. D-C.org opens as my homepage again and he reads on the front page
DAVID COOK'S DEBUT ALBUM - featuring "LIGHT ON" and says, "David has a new single?"
I say "Yep! Wanna hear it?"

So I rewind my CD since, I've had David on the stereo all morning and CRANK IT! My cable guy LOVES Light On! He says "Do I hear a touch of Steve Perry? That's a great song!"

WOOOHOOO! I have internet, my d-c.org back and I've passed the "Light On" to someone new!!

Best part, is I call my husband and say to him, "Tell me you love David Cook." He says why?

"Because David helped get our internet back on!"

"Fine. I love David Cook" in his least excited voice possible. But hey! I got him to say it! lol

Dc Calendar

So since David hasn't had the time to put out his own calender. And let's hope that he does because I would by a dozen and have them in every room of my house! I decided to make my own for my computer desktop.

I'm hoping to make several versions for each month. I know Septmeber is almost over but I figured better late than never.
