...seriously, you are. You are smart, talented, compassionate, giving, humble, and very sexy. It has been an honor to watch your journey from the Qwest Center in Omaha to the Nokia Theatre in L.A. Every week, you never failed to deliver and excite, and now that you are the new American Idol, I'll be glad to continue to follow your journey in the music business as long as you will allow us, your fans, to. Re-intro from a West Coast fan

Hello fellow Word Nerds/Cookies!

Just wanted to drop in and say hello... I didn't quite intro myself properly when I made my first post here (hey, it was either pause and tell my life story or vote my phone into submission for DC!), so here goes:

I'm 38, practically married, living in sunny southern California. I'll admit that I didn't take much notice of David until the Top 24, and when I did, I knew I was witness to something extra special. I was actually a bit more into Michael Johns (can't resist a good-looking Aussie man!) at the time, but as he seemingly started to falter in the competition, that's when I really started to notice David, and that was that!
