Okay, so I've been looking everywhere for pics of David Cook wearing the necklace I gave him back in Salt Lake. IT's a gray dogtag necklace on a small bead chain. I've seen maybe four or five pics of it (maybe), but the necklace was turned around to the back-side, so I couldn't see his name DAVID in black letters on the other side. Can you help me find it? Thanks!

David Cook is like my role model. He is kind, understanding, and he always thinks about others before himself. He is never selfish and his attitude and energy in his music is always consistant and he gives 110% every performance.
Back at the Salt Lake City, July 15th concert, I got to meet David Cook by the backdoor. I got my idol's autograph and I also took this chance to give him a necklace, a dog tag with DAVID in black letters. He's worn it before. Do you know the feeling of having your role model acknowledge you with something so small? It feels great, and it means the world to me. Seeing someone you look up to so much wearing something you gave him is the best feeling in the world. In a way, David Cook is like an older brother to me, and I'm the annoying younger brother. He is someone I can confide in, and when I have a problem, I just listen to his music and it makes it all better. He has made me a better person, convincing me to give, more than recieve and to show appreciation for the smallest things. I don't have any older siblings and so I don't really have anyone to look up to like this. I am so honored to have met David Cook and I wish the best for him and his family in all they do. David Cook is a great person and he truly deserved the title of 'American Idol'.

David Cook,
Thank you so much for wearing the dog tag, black-lettered DAVID necklace that I gave you by the backdoor the night of the Salt Lake City concert back in July. It means a lot to me that you did that. You are a good person and I gave you the necklace to show you that some of your fans like you for you and want to thank you for putting a smile on our faces, by putting one on yours. I hope the best of luck to you in all you do and I hope your brother is getting better. I support what you do 100% and so do many others. Also, just wanted to bring this to light, the black mark on the front of the white box I gave you with teh necklace in it was suppose to be crossing out the store's logo, however, right before I gave it to you, I noticed the same logo on the bottom of the box. Nice! I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but it felt good thinking I was smart for a while. Haha. :-D Can't wait to get your CD!!! -David S. of Salt Lake City, Utah |
