I thought this was an interesting development, that might give David and his music a different kind of exposure to a mostly pop audience (ETA: Sorry, I made a mistake in the subtitle - the album will be released on March 24, 2009.):

Compilations are such a great way to "sample" music...long before I tunes & shuffle Ipods they were the only way to buy different artist's music without the whole album purchase. I know many years ago  - my parents wouldn't let me buy records (my age is showing!) by certain groups they thought were too "hard" sounding - the way I got around it was to buy compilations! Looking at the list of artists - a fan of Kanye or Urban could become a Cook fan! Plus it has to help David's pocket!

WOW that's great...worth the 14 bucks! Although I do have to say...how many copies of Light On can one girl have!
One day on my Zune in shuffle mode, Light On played 5 times in a row! I think it is on there 7 or 8 times! I want another single released!!!!
