I thought it was pretty pitchy, although it could have been the recording. Difficult song to sing. I listened to a vid that someone took from the stands and he sounded so much better and richer than what was on tv. The NA is difficult to do anyway and I loved how he did it. Just sang it straight without all those rifts and runs.

..I'd had the flu the last few days and have sooooooo fallen behind on all the 'goings-on', MANNNNNNNNN I'm feelin' so out of touch right now-- I HATE it, LOL!!!  ..so I hadn't even KNOWN he had done this??!!!!! ..and of course now I'm beatin' myself up, because I'm wondering if this might've been nationally televised on ESPN or somethin'.. where I could've seen this on TV!!! ..darnitt!!!  ..AND I haven't even yet seen the Africa pics or anything!!! LOL, I have some CATCHIN' UP TO DO!!! ..I was still at the tail end of the flu this past Monday, when it was my team's home opener (The Arizona Diamondbacks ..but I am SUCH a huge fan of baseball.. and of my TEAM.. that I was NOT gonna miss it!!!  ..there was some country guy singing the Anthem.. I'm not real big into country music so Darnitt I just plain can't remember his name.. he did it just fine.. BUT....I have to say, I think David was far superior!!! ..LOL and just because I'm biased doesn't mean it isn't still TRUE!!!!!!
