Humorous David Ballad

so...we had to write a ballad in english

which means theres 8, 6, 8, 6 syllables with the rhyme shceme ABCB

I wrote one about David haha it wasnt for marks really, just completion so it didnt matter what we wrote about

Thre once was a man called David
he had many big dreams
he chose to try out for a show
took his dog. Lots he means

David quickly became nervous
Dublin quickly grew very bored
he found something to chew
he ate his guitar. O dear lord!

No! what would he do now?
David grew very anrgy with him
Dublin then ran away
Time to go, the lights became dim

David started his song
he went with no guitar in hand
Dublin hid inside the rafters
he fell and landed on the band

The show was then ruined
The judges just shook their big heads
David slowly walked off
his feel felt like big leads

Dublin came at his heels
David looked at him very sad
suddely a judge came
he said he was a funny lad

Then he smiled very big
in his hand he held a ticket
David had actually passed
Dublin happily licked it

David was very proud
in the end everything was well
no longer cross with Dublin
although he was hurt when he fell

David started to leave
They called him back, they cheered so loud
he was very shocked
He stepped on stage and took a bow
