Who is Dublin? I've seen a few references on the site. Just curious. Can you help me?

Thanks for replying so quickly. I watched the YouTube video you linked. What an adorable puppy. He reminds me of a little bear cub. Have any of you caught a glimpse of Dublin on the Tour? I hope David brings him out when I see him in concert later this summer.

^ I saw David taking Dublin out near the buses at the Wichita show on June 21. That's the only time I've seen him though, but from what I've heard and from what David has said, Dublin has been along for a lot of the tour (he was in obedience classes for a while though, and Andrew was taking care of him for a while too) I think it depends on where they are.

"He's learning," oh lol. I remember the first time I saw that video. I was just sat here AWWWing out loud. He's so cute.

My ex-boyfriend's parents bought a Scottish terrier about a month ago, and when they were struggling to think of a name, I piped up and suggested that they called it Edinburgh. Then I started laughing, and they just looked at me as if I was insane.

Haha, I would've laughed if I had been there. Though it doesn't roll off the tongue as well as Dublin LOL.

Know what's weird, I have a list of future dog names, and Dublin as one of them, way before Dave presented him to us. Of course, it's no longer an option because people know I'm a big DC fan and they'd think I was doing it just because of Dave. Oh well. I'll think of something else cute....

What happened to wanting a Dane name Quagmire?

I like big dogs and have the name 'Tugboat' on the list. I have English Sheepies Emma and Neville. Traditional British names but few pick up on that. biggrin.gif

Haha, I think that might've been a joke between David and Neal (Neal has a Great Dane named Mr. Sixx) though maybe he did want one and changed his mind. I think a part of it might be that Dave knew he was going to be on the road a lot, and wanted a dog with him, and quite obviously, it's actually doable with a 10 pound dog as opposed to a 100+ pound dog. smile.gif I love Scottish terriers though, I've wanted one since I was 7.

also if he has to fly, dublin can come with him in the cabin. A big dog has to go in cargo, and it's really hard on dogs to go in there. Thats why i had to leave my puppy at home because her legs were too long to fit in a bag. She's on;y 15 pounds! sad.gif we didn't was to stress her out by sticking her in a noisy place. (she's really shy and scared of everything. including feathers.) I wonder how dublin is liking the ride on the bus. i hope he doesn't get car sick!

^ I always think it's so horrible that dogs have to go down in cargo... I mean, I know there's no other place on the plane for them and they must have some special area for pets, but, I dunno, I mean, dogs are not LUGGAGE. They're PETS. I dunno. We need a better system. But yeah, Dublin can easily fly with David, I hadn't even thought of that. smile.gif If Dublin was my dog I would want him with me at all times. So adorable.

Recently there was an airline created for pets so that their owners could place them there so the wouldn't have to fly cargo on planes. its a very neat idea but very expensive

I think my brother's dermatologist's brother in-law created it. lol biggrin.gif We were gonna use that for my puppy, but they only have flights from LA to chicago and i think new york. sad.gif and you can't go on it with your pet, they have to go alone.
