Work in progress

Note to mods - I'm going to leave this hidden until I find some time to work on it.

My hubby asked me what I'd like for Christmas and the thing I want most is to see David in concert when the tewer starts next year... I told him a TicketMaster gift card... but I guess I should check to make sure tickets will be sold that way... Anybody know how I could verify that? I can post the same question over at DCO and see if somebody "official" will answer. I'd hate to have him spend the $$ and still not get to buy the tickets to see DC.

Hoping to catch up with some Dash-ers at the Tewer!

I've been wondering the same thing...how do college tours work as far as admission goes? How big are the venues typically, and are they just general admission?

Someone overheard Joey talking to a fan Thursday night in Columbus, and he said the college tour will be February-May. biggrin.gif

College venues usually are not that big. Last year, our spring concert cost $20 for a student ticket. Prices will not be any higher than $30.

They are just targeting the colleges as venues. I went to see Switchfoot at Rutgers - the State University here in NJ last May and I am way beyond College age.

Switchfoot ROCKS. I'm convinced that God used Switchfoot to bring me to Him, it's a freaky weird story...
But anyhoo, I would LOVE a college tewer. I've got no monies. I would love them forever if they did that, as long as they picked the college close to me! laugh.gif Please, someone post updates if they have them!!!

Dang - I wish my hubber asked me that - I'd have to tell him the same thing, only tickets without him - a girls night out!

I read that he's going to be playing Vegas in the new year. From the Jingle Ball - quoted...." I’m going to be off the grid for two weeks until New Year’s. This is my last gig until the Mirage [in Vegas.] This will give me a chance to reflect on the last year, try to feel normal.”

That might help out. I live in California, so Vegas is no big deal - 3-4 hours - but I contacted the Mirage and no dates are set as yet. You know I'll be checking that out now!

I think he may have been referring to the FOX New Year's Eve show from Las Vegas that he's supposed to be taping on December 30th.

I remember that when Daughtry played the small clubs, the ticket price was around $20. How great would that be if David's prices were similar?! smile.gif

WHAT!!!!!!!!! Arrrrrrghhhhhhhhhhh - I would definately see him in Las Vegas! I work at a college university, and there's no way he could be a venue here, not enough space. Although we did have VooDoo Daddy here on campus when they were big stuff even then, and it was a rocking crowd all over the outdoor spot the bands play every week, but the grassy area was filled everywhere and people were rocking out and dancin. It was really pretty fun to watch!

I'd take the day off and sit the whole morning if he did come here. But I think somebody said it - it might be a college venue set up somehow by another corporation, maybe MTV thing - that would be great for him, bad for others. Oh well........ no vegas........ bummer........
