Just saw David at the NYE fest ... "Super concert" we had way in the back seats but he made us feel like we were down in front with him. This upcoming concert we have better seats. The gals are going down to Morongo for the day then on to the concert. We are lucky Cali fans!!!!

While I do wish I had a second home in Tulsa, I would agree that California has been a good location. My husband and I were blessed with all the THH shows and much more. I'm hoping for new tunes at Morongo. Fingers crossed.

As we were told, its a "Brand" new show. I am sure he will play some new tracts. Gee, its so tough to be his "test cookies"...Oh well, someone has to do it ...might as well be us Cali's... LOLOLOLOL We have super seats so we will all have tons of pics to download.

I don't mind him trying out anything new. I stopped listening to the CD months ago and am looking forward to getting a sample of the direction the music is heading. I'm quite curious about it.

I'm thinking it will have an acapella song. His fan's loved the newly revised rendition of Lie. When he sang Lie at NYE concert, the audience gave him the respect to sing. I hardly think he would re-release Lie. The new music from what I have read is going to be a mixture of instruments and not only the "wall to wall" sound of the guitars. His ballads are super and the rock songs...what can I say?... again awesome. A lot of pressure on him now. The second cd has no safety nets. He is flying alone... and he is going to be just fine!

Involving his audience is smart. Making the entire place feel as though they are all sitting in the front row. The banter is funny and witty. It's easy to see he and the band are having a good time and enjoy what their doing.

Its true about fame... it can be fickle. David has a very loyal fan base and stated at the NYE concert... .(don't quote me word for word...went something like this.).."All this now, is gonna blow the sh*t right out of the water for the next and concert!!!!"

I think I read the plans to release the new cd is sometime in the early summer... I am as well are looking forward his 2nd cd.

I was listening to his recent radio interview this morning and, when asked for a couple words to describe the upcoming CD, two words he used were "dynamic" and "loud". So, I'm not reading acapella into that. You never know, though. I hope he really finds his sound on this second CD.

I wouldn't like a re-release of Lie personally, because, even though his live version is heads and shoulders better than the recorded version, I have to say I don't really care all that much for that song. I don't dislike it, but I don't really like it, either. Guess I'm more of a Kiss On The Neck kind of person.

I agree about the pressure being on. Here's hoping he doesn't rush things to get that CD out just because he is anxious to get out and tour again. David....you hear me? This is the make it or break it CD, IMO. It needs to be stellar.

That's super Jeannine... I haven't heard anything "new" regarding the second CD. Glad to read from what your replying he is going for "dynamic and loud". As far as the acapella song, agree, its not totally ruled out just yet lol.

Agree again, I am a "Kiss on the neck" gal myself. Also loved when he did the cover "Hot for the teacher" awesome song to begin with. He did a fab job singing it. At the NYE concert, he mixed "Hero's and Champagne Supernova" together... wondering if this new tour will also have mix covers as well?

I'm doing a lot of agreeing tonight lol.... yes this CD will need to be stellar. I sure hope he doesn't rush this just to make a summer release. What's the old saying? "Patiences is a virtue" We as fans... yes, were anxious, but we also want this to be another amazing CD. Let's give him a lot Grammy's!!

In answer to your question, Olivia, we are coming from El Segundo, so just a couple of hours at the most, I guess....depends upon the traffic.

I believe we are in row 3 of section B.
