These are hard copy tickets so we will have to make arrangements to meet at the venue.

Up Close Video Of Entire Mural Unveiling Event

I hope no one minds if I start a new thread. I saw the other one but figured most people have read it and would miss the video if I posted there.

I also apologize if someone else has already posted something similar. I glanced at the Fox video just enough to see that I have quite a bit on film that they did not get, and I thought if you haven't already seen the whole thing that you will really enjoy it. I had a great spot for filming.

This mural is about a mile from my house and I will drive by it almost every day. Crazy. Anyhow, it was so great to see David home today soaking up the love from our community. And, like the great guy he is, he really made the effort to make the kids who painted the mural feel special. One thing the Fox video didn't show was the replica of the mural which was gifted to David. He insisted that all the kids autograph it for him and then he took pictures with them. Very thoughtful.

Then instead of making a hasty exit (which would have been understandable on this busy day) he took the initiative to go down the line and greet and sign autographs for all of us who showed up.

From my observations today, David still just really has his head screwed on straight. This is not someone who has let fame go to his head and it was so great to see how appreciative and humble he is. He was patient and kind to everyone and made other people there today feel special. And, that about him impresses me more than about anything else. I'm very proud of our hometown boy.

Oh, and Andrew - that guy is too funny. He and David together are a riot. Andrew was standing right beside me squealing like a girl - Ooooo! It's David Cook!! This was especially funny because he was the ONLY one squealing. The rest of us were quiet and respectful. LOL. So, when David gets to him he turns to him and deadpans, "Hi, I'm David Cook." A few minutes later someone by me asked Andrew if David gave him an autograph and he was like "No! What a jerk!" (or something similar) I wish I had that on video, but I put my camera down when David got close. Sorry!

Need KC Sat tickets? Lower level close to stage

I have two extra tickets in section 108, row 15 for Saturday night's KC show. I have sat in this section at Sprint Center previously and these are great seats, elevated so you can see over the person in front of you, and will be very close to the side stage where David walks down the stairs and stands up on the rail. As a bonus, they will probably have a nice view back stage!

Want tickets for sold out KC show on 29th?

I have 2 seats in Section 115 Row 14 and 2 seats in Section 115 Row 19 available for sale.

I have been to Sprint Center many times since it opened and I prefer seats in this side section over seats on the floor unless I can get in the 1st 10 rows. You can see better! Good seats for a sold out show!

I just want regular ticketmaster price plus fees = $167.50 per pair, which is what I paid for them. I prefer payment by Paypal.

Edited to upload better picture of Sprint Center and to note that the Sprint Center is saying the show on the 29th is sold out, but ticketmaster has released some seats behind the stage. These seats may have limited view since they are behind the lights and video screens, but technically the show is not sold out. (I can't edit the thread title so wanted to clarify)

Are you David's friend on MySpace? Not added yet?

If you are not connected to David on MySpace - you definitely want to be! It is cool getting his bulletins, and based upon how much he connected with fans on his old MySpace before Idol, I suspect when things slow down for him he will communicate with us more.

But, if you are a newbie to MySpace it can be a little intimidating. And, if you are like me and your request to be added received no response, it can be frustrating.

Funny story just to show you how green I was - I asked to be added (1st time ever using Myspace) last week to Cook's Myspace. When there was no response I saw that Archie had opened his space this week so I asked to be added there, sort of to see if Myspace was broken for me or what. I was added IMMEDIATELY. So I tried MJ's space and got added the same day. So, now here I am a person who voted 1000s of times for Cook, but I can only get Archie and MJ to be my friends. (Nothing against DA or MJ - I like them both, but I am a Cook FAN, darn it!!!)

Not to be deterred, I tried a few things and finally got added to David's space today and got all the bulletins. Yay! It made me so happy I thought I would come share here so others can get connected too.


Myspace for Dummies (like me):

1. Go to www.myspace.com and sign up for an account.
2. Click HOME from the bar on any Myspace page, log in, and you will be on your Myspace home page. From here you can edit your profile, view bulletins from your friends, etc.
3. When you want to see how your profile looks to everyone else, click on profile in the upper right.

Get Added to David's Friends:

1. Go to www.myspace.com/officialdavidcook
2. On David's page the ADD button is weird - you have to click below it or it tries to send a message. To make it easier, instead click on the drop down box above the HOME button that says USER SHORTCUTS. From there you can choose ADD TO FRIENDS.
3. At the top of the add page is a place for you to write a message. DO NOT WRITE A MESSAGE. Leave that blank and submit it. I think this is why I had to send 3 friend requests. If you do not write a message, I think the add is automatic. But, if you write a message, it is not automatic and it has to be approved.

If you have a pending friend request that has not been approved (I know there are some of you here):

1. Go to your HOME page. Click on Friend Requests and then Sent Requests. CANCEL your friend request.
2. Go back to David's page, ask to be added, and DO NOT WRITE A MESSAGE. You will be added immediately.

If you would like to have TOML play on your homepage like it does on David's:

1. Go to David's space and click on the ADD that is in the music player under TOML.
2. Go to your HOME page, click edit profile, song & video, change your settings so it plays automatically when your page opens.

If there are veteran Myspace users here and you would like to add more Myspace tips (or correct me if I got anything wrong), please post your tips here.

I would love to see David have as many friends as some of the other Idol alums!
