No one could ever find the full version
 There is like a 10 second snippet of it somewhere in one of those pre-song interviews that they showed on Idol, but I can't remember which one it was.

Maybe if they do some special DVD for Season 7 (like the Season 6 finale thing they did...I didn't buy that cause I didn't particularly like Season 6, but you can bet I'll but a Season 7 one...) they'll put it on there...I don't know why they never showed the whole thing, because at least two people that I know of have sung it on the show...Josh Gracin and E.J. Day.
Oh dear...I just went and listened to E.J. Day's version and if they let him sing it they'd probably practically be throwing the song at DC if AI wanted to show the footage.  Just the ten seconds of DC's version shows that it's infinitely better than that one...I haven't listened to Josh Gracin's version.Oh...haha...theres a DA version too...looks like he was in about 8th/9th grade.  His is good...I just prefer the ten seconds of DC's.

The first clip isn't available any longer. Now I'm going to have to scour the Tubey for it, cuz I've never heard it before and i LOVE that song!
