Save It For A Rainy Day

So this would be the second song I have posted here, hope you all like it, comments and suggestions are welcome. This song's inspiration is on relationships with soldiers/military/ect., and the pain they're spouses feel when they go back overseas. ^.^

When the person you love
has to leave you again,

As we were driving along
He handed me a note
and told me to

For when I was was feeling
lonely, sad, and missing him.
I held him tight then
I kissed him goodbye.
He told me to stay strong and that
he'll be home soon.
I've heard those words
so many times before,
and it keeps getting harder
with each breath that I take.

A few months go by,
I'm going through my purse
as I remember that night
and what he said to me.
He handed me a note and told me to

I'd been crying all morning,
we hadn't talked in a while.

I opened up the note and
there in black and white,
is a list he wrote of everything
he loves about me and
how when he gets home
he can't wait to marry me.
How could I not smile, and be happy again,
At least for a moment.
So whenever I'm feeling low,
I'll just look at those words that he wrote.
I'm so glad that I,
Saved it for a rainy day.

This Letters Going Out

To be perfectly honest I was kinda hesitant to post my songs here, because they're kind of more country/pop than rock. Obviously I love rock music, I am a DC fan after all, but my writing style doesn't really go in that direction....even though it's not rock, I hope you like it, and feel free to posts comments/suggestions if you have them.

Perez Hilton Says David Is Battling It Out For The #2 Spot.

I really hope Perez has it wrong but he posted this on his website. Saying Beyonce will have the #1 record and David will be battling it out with Nickelback and Taylor Swift for 2nd. Keep buying guys, we want David to sell as many Cds as possible.

Leaving To Get My Cd Soon!

OMG you guys I get to leave in like 20 mins to get my CD from Walmart. I really wanted to go at midnight but I don't have my own car, so my dads taking me when he gets home from work! I have only heard 2 full songs from the entire album. No it's not because I'm patient it's because my dial up hates me and wouldn't let me listen to the songs. LOL

I'm considering buying 2 since I can't order online (No credit card), but I'll just have to wait and see if I have enough since I have to get other stuff too since I'm moving in like a month. Anyone here just get their CD or haven't had the chance to get it yet?
