Yes, ladies and gentlemen, our David Cook, Cookie, DC made it to a fifth grade graduation today! How sweet is that??
... Ok, now for the real story. He really did show up where I least expected it, but in a very appropriate manner and time. I teach at an elementary school and today was our 5th grade graduation. We do a 5th grade video after the kids get their certificates and guess who I heard suddenly? David! I can't escape him (or is it he who can't escape me?)! Our media coordinator used his AI song "Time of My Life" as a part of the music to the video of the kids' past 6 years in elementary school. It was a perfect song choice for the video and perfect timing. It made me smile. A lot. If not for the kids, but for hearing David as well. |
