I Met David On Nov. 18th. Best Day Of My Life.

I met David at his Album Release Concert in NYC on November 18th and I had butterflies in my stomach all day despite waiting in Times Square all day with my sister due to the fact that the bus schedule back to our town was somewhat messed up. I was shocked at the fact that I was so close to him during the concert(one person was in front of me and then the stage). It was a dream come true, finally knowing I was going to meet the man who has been my idol for months and after so much failure(Newark concert-1st day, Newark - 2nd day in the afternoon, and then Bridgeport). Just waiting in line after the concert was over and seeing him taking pictures for press and I couldn't have been more nervous. My sister, who I let go in front of me, met him first and I stood there as I watched them hug and then it was my turn and I thought I was going to have a heart attack, LOL. He looked up at me, holding onto my album cover and said hello to me and I think after that moment...it was like no one else was in the room but me and him. He said hello back and he asked me how I was and I replied with good, instead of something better but my mind was basically a puddle of goo as I stared at him. I then asked him for a hug as he signed the album cover. He looked up, said of course and stood up. I feel like reinacting that very moment, so...he put his left arm around me and whispered "Thank you" into my ear(I would totally feel special if I was the only one he said that to that night, but I highly doubt it, LOL). I said thank you back and walked off and met my sister and my friend and her sister and we all flailed and sorta screamed and jumped up and down. I think people were staring, oh well. David Cook just hugged us all, we could care less.

Now I am on withdrawals since we won't see him again until Christmas and then on New Years Eve. I so cannot wait for Tewer of '09. IT'S GOING TO BE AMAZING!
