What's going on??? I'm worried about our Joey! I hope he's ok. Everyone send good energy and prayers his way! They must have known about this for a while right? I mean, they don't even have time to rehearse with someone else because their shows are so close together. JOEY!!! WE NEED TO HEAR FROM YOU!!!

my guess is that Joey simply had a prior commitment and since the tour was extended joey has to leave for 6 weeks to do whatever it is he has to do. im sure he's fine and ok no need to worry
does anyone know if he's in another band or is playing for someones else other than David? |

if he is indeed leaving then why is this monty dude filling in for him for 6 weeks? shouldnt dave and the guys get a new bassist altogether instead of borrowing one if indeed joey is leaving?

Hmmm, I'm sure this Monty guy is a great bassist and all that, but I want Joey!!! I'm wondering if he had a fall-out with David? His Facebook page sure sounds like he's moving on. I'm seeing them in 2 days and I'll sure miss Joey Jazzercise!

I'm really sad about this...I really hope Joey will be back after the 6 weeks! He's my favorite band member...and has been since I met him in December!
Seeing pics of this Monty guy makes me laugh...they go from a guy with crazy curly purple hair (which I absolutely LOVE...maybe not the purple...) to a completely bald guy! LOL!

One of the things that needs to be said about this new bass guy, is that he is an old friend of David's and worked on Analog Heart with him. I think it's amazing that he could step up and play a full set quickly and keep up with David and the band. That David could quickly turn to someone he knew pre idol if this is a sudden thing, which I think it is.
I just hope Joey and his family are ok. |

As much as I'm fond of Joey and as much as I love having him in the band, I'm hoping this thread can be a positive thread for Monty. I'm sure that he will do a good job and am hoping everyone welcomes him. The one thing about music and musicians is that nothing is ever constant. Once learns to roll with the punches. I hope he enjoys his experience in the band, no matter how long it lasts.

I was listening to Analog Heart today, Monty played the bass for that album right? it sounded pretty good
 he'll be a great addition to the band for the next 6 weeks. [even though i do miss joey's rock kicks. ] btw i love your rainbow siggy olivia. ^__^
