I'm sure this has already been posted in another thread somewhere. Anyway, yeah, Neal looks much better now. I remember seeing a comment on that video that someone had made, along the lines of 'Neal looks like Jesus' - I roared. Oh, and Grunge Dave, FTW.

A while back, I showed this to my friend, whose favorite in the band is Neal, and when the video was over, she asks "Who was that?" I say "That was Neal..." She didn't believe me until watched it again closely. laugh.gif

*hearts MountainManNeal* apparently he got stranded in a cabin in the Adirondacks for a few months... lol no, jk....but i love that video...at least they got Top 8...did they win that contest? If not, they should've, because they deserved it, they're amazing guys!

They are excellent. That's for sure. However, I can't make a sweeping statement that they are the best out there. There are many indie bands out there that are awesome. It just comes down to personal preference. I know several that I equally enjoy. All have a differnet sound and are great at what they do.

I can't say enough about their sound, either. Neal's writing is brilliant and Andy's singing works so well with it. Certainly a winning combination. Extremely unique in sound and style.

Perhaps the indie bands you have listened to are very similar. I guess I have listened to bands that have totally differnt sounds and then you get the apples and oranges comparison. You can't really compare them because they differ so. There is a ton of talent out there to enjoy. Music is wonderful because there is probably something out there for every person to enjoy. It is my favorite form of self expression.
