I just had to tell the world how much I love Analog Heart. I knew it was going to be good, afterall it is David Cook...but since I have been listening to the whole album over and over and over and really hearing the lyrics and feeling where the song was going I have to say that this album is way better than I ever dreamed it would be. I have no idea how this man didn't have a record deal before now. Every song on this album I can relate to in some form, all the lyrics are perfectly scripted and just wow. All I can say is wow. These songs are the soundtrack to my life...I have loved other albums before but not like this one...this album has gone on my top list of all time favorite albums. Seriously...I start the cd at the beginning and I get chill bumps that don't stop or go away until long after the last song...it's incredible. If Analog Heart is this good...I may just stroke right out and fall in the floor when his new album comes out...he's right about making music that makes the hair on the back of his neck stand up...God I hope he never, ever stops!

LOL! Same here. I simply adore this whole album. Ever since I bought it 2 months ago, I listen to it almost everyday, start-to-finish. I never get tired of it. The lyrics are incredible. I really don't know how he never got signed before now, it baffles me. I mean, I haven't had an album touch me like Analog Heart has in a VERY long time.

I am just loving AH too, having only had this available to me for about two weeks. The lyrics are breathtaking and music is astonishing it has touched my heart just as 'everything' this young man does. Thank God for him.

I agree...I have no idea how he was on the local music scene so long without someone discovering him. He's wonderful and talented and writes some of the best lyrics and music I have ever heard! I have listened to this album hundreds of times since I got it and I still get goose bumps the whole way through every time I hear it! I love, LOve...LOVE IT!!

AH is one of the few albums I could listen to all day. I just love everything about this record...the lyrics, the instrumentation, the melodies...EVERYTHING! If this were to be released again, I think 7/10 of the songs in this record could be released as singles. That's how radio-friendly these tracks are. So amazing!

Well if a woman can marry the Berlin Wall, you should have no problem getting hitched to AH, lol wink.gif

I post my feelings about this album almost anytime i come on here, lol. I was blown away when i first downloaded it and now am lucky enough to actaully own the physical cd (my bank account ain't too pleased though sad.gif) It's one of a very few albums i can listen to from start to finish, there are no fillers at all. I think if DC's post-Idol album is anywhere near as good, which i'm sure it will be, then it is gonna be HUGE! The lyrics got me hooked at first but the more i listen to it i just find new stuff i love every time. The vocals are pretty special too. What more can i say than it's just incredible smile.gif

Well stated!

I've had this CD for months now, and I've not stopped listening to it. His lyrics are simply haunting. If it were possible to wear it out, I would have done it by now. I also have two of his Axium Albums, which are also very good. (Hence my signature, which is an Axium song) I can't wait to see what he does with the full support of a label and collaborations with people such as Raine from OLP. The fall cannot get here fast enough!

You can say that again!! I have had AH since 25 May, I shall never forget how excited I was, then I got to download Axium Albums on here last week they are brilliant but AH just makes me want to cry for joy. wub.gif

I feel and hear something new everytime I listen just cannot stop there is not one track I skip and that is rare! I am now playing all the albums in year order over and over!! How he never got signed up until now is beyond me but things have a funny way of working out certain ways for a reason thank God!

I agree 100%, however, I don't believe he was on the music scene all that long before he was 'discovered'. Realize that the 10 years he says he's been in a band include his high school years and his college years obtaining a bachelor's degree. He graduated in 2006, put out Analog Heart, won the Indie (sp?) with it, and is now our AI. Pretty steep climb if you ask me.

I've had AH for 2-3 months now and I agree with those of you who say there hasn't been an album that touched me like this one in a very long time (if ever). I haven't listened to anything other than DC in months. I couldn't tell you what's playing on the radio because I haven't turned it on in that long.

He is amazing, I can't seem to get enough of him. I enjoy his interviews almost as much as his music. He is so articulate and comes across as intelligent (besides being incredibly talented). I hope he gets into acting somewhere down the road. He's a natural in front of the camera. I wish I had some of his Axium music. I remember when the Axium song was playing in movie theaters. I heard it and remember telling my friends, "that song is going to be huge". I LOVED it. Then I guess I never heard it again and forgot about it until I heard DC mention Axium and heard his voice. Then it was like, "that's it!"...that's the band I heard before who are so incredible. ...DC is incredible, with our without his band.

I just downloaded the songs from AH a couple of days ago, made a playlist of it on my iPod, and made a CD for my car! I had only heard the songs briefly and didn't pay attention to them all till I put them together as a collection. Now I can't stop playing it! This album is incredible! Just think what his new album will be like when he has record label professionals behind it! Although I love the rawness of the songs on AH.

I always daydream about DC, and I was thinking how he could do a concert and play songs from AH, and we could all sing along, because we true fans will know all the words! I know, I am weird! I think all kinds of weird fantasies about this guy! But, I am too afraid to go over to the Fanfic side!

I wonder what David's IQ is, because to me, he just seems damn brilliant! OMG, I just love him!!!

I just completely got every song on AH on my mp3 player the other day, and I can honestly say, without being biased because it's David, that it is one of the best albums I've ever heard. Music is SUCH a big part of my life, and these songs completely fulfill my love of the art. Every song is meaningful, deep, personal and even romantic in some ways. I love the lyrics soooo much, it's impossible to understand why those songs aren't on the rock radio's RIGHT NOW, TODAY. I am honored to even KNOW the songs on that album.

I'm not eloquent enough to express how much I adore AH! I got it (I admit illegally, but I did make a contribution to ACS to ease my guilt) about six weeks ago and listened to it non-stop the first week I had it. I don't listen to it that often now, but it's never far from my mind and I find myself humming snippets of songs all the time. I'm in awe of his tremendous talent and cannot wait for the next album! For what it's worth, I think the guitar solo on Porcelain is a masterpiece!
