David Has A Sister-?

I am sure everyone has seen the great promo DC did for this season's American Idol. In the promo, his SISTER talks to the camera. I might we a little late coming to the party, but...I didn't think David even had a sister!? There is not one biography out there that can confirm who she is. Is she a step-sister? Maybe someone has already asked this, but I couldn't even find the answer here.

HELP - its driving me crazy!

I Just Met David Cook in Hartford

Hi, everyone! I just met David Cook in Hartford, CT!! It was totally random!! My story is a long one, so hope you hang in with me.

Since I work in Hartford, I thought I would just walk on by...well, no one but the busses were to be found. My friend and I walked across the street to get some coffee. When I got back to work, I noticed I lost my badge and couldn't get back in to the building. So, I went back to trace my steps.

I ended up at the hotel again and as I was walking in to the Conceirge desk to see if they picked up my bag, I walked past THE DAVID COOK! He was wearing his KC baseball hat and was bringing his guitar and backpack in to the hotel. Then, he went in to a stretch limo so I thought he was leaving. Then, Carly S. comes out and take his guitar and goes in to the hotel (she actually waited in line to check in-??? don't they all have someone to do that for them??) Anyway, so I go in to the hotel - only to get 'spoken to' by Carly. She must have thought I was following her and wanted a photo with her because she says to me "look, this is our quiet time - our personal - time so, really, no pictures". My response was "I am only here to find my work badge that I lost so I get back in to my building - sorry".

So, I find my badge and go outside and there HE WAS! I asked if he wouldn't mind a photo or 2 and he said 'of course not!" He stopped for photos for each of the 10 or so of us standing out there and signed anything he was handed. He even stopped for a photo with the waitresses at the hotel's restaurant! He shook my hand and I said "congratulations". He must have said thank you about 3 or 4 times. A young girl swooped in around me and gave him a book about the cleanest jokes in America and he laughed. Just at that time, I asked for a photo (you can see the orange book in his hands".

The big news he shared is that he got a new tatoo on his inner right hand wrist. Its of an eye with eyelashes with a single white tear falling from it. He said he got it last night in New York. He said he was there for the Mets game and he showed us the Mets jersey he was holding in his hand. He showed us the back of it that said "Johns" (must be Michael Johns' jersey). I said 'you are great and deserve it - congratulations' and he said 'thank you' and went on politely taking photos with the other folks around.

He seemed like a genuinely nice person to stop and take a photo with each and every one of us. And, can I just say that he has some HUGE feet!!
