David Wright Foundation Mission

According to their website, they have changed there mission to be more about ill kids and kids in need


The mission of the David Wright Foundation is to provide aid and assistance toward the health, emotional development, and education for children in need. Through programs and annual events, the DWF strives to enhance the quality of life for children of the New York, Tri-State, and Norfolk, VA metro areas.

It was in the NY Post this year that they bring out kids who can't afford to go to a ballgame or are ill to a game at every homestand.

They also have a baseball clinic and bowling event for kids...

This year my friend told me the gala is to raise money to put DO THE WRIGHT libraries in as many hospitals as they can for kids to borrow PSPs. DVD Players/CD players, Game boys, etc...plus movies, CD's and games for kid that can't go to the playroom b/c cause they are bedridden waiting for transplants or having their chemo treatment. How cool. Great cause to spend money on PLUS David Wright is TOTALLY HOT. Did you know DW and DC were both born 12/20/82- how weird? It's like they are meant to work together. I think it was IN TOUCH that called them a " HOT DOUBLE PLAY" I agree! Both single too

Hope to see you at the gala, it is going to be awesome and I think Cook will play some new stuff. I was told he was playing at least a 1/2 hr set. Just keep checking www.davidwrightfoundation.com. There is also now an alert system if you go to wesite, click on gala and sigh up. For some reason when try to respond to your PM, I get this message: The number of opening and closing quote tags does not match.
Do you know why or what I should do?
