David did an interview with the Pechanga Casino & Resort today and it showed a shot of his tattoo.
Interview here. I took some screen shots of it to get a glimpse of the tattoo! It is believed to be the last verse of the poem THE DASH (I love that btw!) by Linda Ellis. Read it and decide for yourselves!  So when your eulogy is being read With your life's actions to rehash Would you be proud of the things they say About how you spent your dash?

With the end of tour coming about, I just couldn't resist another little prose.
To the tune of "The Beverly Hillbillies" (I took a few liberties with it, so just go with it, k?!  )Will you sing MY song at the top of your lungs?  Golden Idol (Serenity65 - Lisa H) Now let me tell a story bout a man named Dave A poor Missouri boy, barely old enough to shave And then on morning he was hanging with his Bro. When he said “Lets go to Omaha, and try to win that show!” Idol that is…Golden tickets, Hollywood. Well first thing you know, Ol Dave is singing notes He beats out little Archie in a battle for the votes The media surrounds him and suggests he stay in town Cal-i-for-ni-a is where the beats are going down Los Angeles…celebrities, wannabe’s. ~*~*~*~*~*~ He’s been playing all the clubs from shore to shinning shore Fans are filling up the joints and beggin’ him for more But now it’s time to say goodbye to Dave and all the guys We wave and smile and all the while the tears fall from our eyes Y’all come back now….ya hear?!
