The Mystery Of David Cook In Nyc On April 27

Dear Fans of David Cook the AI:

I am Shayna Steele and I am here to inform you that David Cook, AI will NOT be playing with me at La Lanterna on April 27 New York City.

So sorry to disappoint you all, since I know your love and admiration for David Cook, AI.

After reading your posts and receiving many emails of "is it true!!", I am here to inform you and ask that you spread the word that David Cook, AI will never be performing with me at anytime, including my April 27 performance in a 28 seat jazz club. The chaos that would cause to have a line of thousands of people thinking he's there... I can only imagine ALOT of mad people.

Please also note, that I would NEVER take advantage of Mr. Cook, AI or his fame for my own professional success. I have a successful career of my own as an independent artist and a small but loyal fan base and I spend every day and night working on my craft, building fans in a respectful and honest way and doing good music.

Yes, David Cook, the jazz pianist does do my gigs. He is my Musical Director, my co-writer, producer and he's my husband. Last time I looked at the person laying next to me, he did not look like David Cook, AI! Yes, David Cook, Jazz Pianist did play Season 3 of the AI Touring company with Jennifer Hudson and Fantasia as a keyboard player. I know it gets confusing, but trust me they are NOT one in the same.

So sorry for the confusion dear people. Please, no need to be upset. I'm sure your David Cook, AI will be in a town near you...just not with me.
