..hi y'all!!!

..how's everyone today..?! ..lookin' forward to SuperBowl??!!! ..anyone's team make it in?!

..mannnnnnnn I am missin' Cookie!!! ..I am having frickin' WITHDRAWALS already!!!!!!! SHEEESSSHHH!!!!!
..I SWEAR they need to come up with like local groups-- "David Cook Anonymous" groups or something...!!! ..HELP!!!!!!

..well anyway, I have a question that will likely either get laughed at.. or.. pitied (LOL I know that's the way you spell 'pitied' but it looks so dang funny!
..or .. mocked... or taunted... or belittled..


LOLOLLLLL!!!!!! I need a drink

..but ANYWAY--- does anyone out there.. say... possibly somehow have an *extra* David Cookie pick.. say maybe you have been able to catch more than one at concerts.. so on and so forth.. that you would be willing to part with..? ..not just part with, but *sell* ..I know I know, it might sound strange or crazy.. but.. it means that much to me..

..I've been so Blessed as to see Cookie four times-- one of the four times we were in the very front row-- we had been talking to the security guard in front of us before the concert, he was verrrry nice-- he said if any picks fell to the ground in front of us or anything, he would be handing it to my Mom or myself.. he was soooo nice... well, unfortunately.. at the end of the concert.. and it was still dark- David threw one that didn't make it out to the crowd, fell just beyond us in the front row.. the guard picked it up and came right for us-- it was dark and loud and crazy, he accidentally handed it to the woman next to us ..once the lights came up he came to us and said he was very sorry, he said that he thought she was with us, and that that pick was meant for us.. he was very sorry.. well he was sooooo nice and of COURSE we weren't upset with either him or the woman in any way!

..but anyway that happened, it was past.. when Pechanga came up and I was so Blessed to be able to go (and to both shows!) ..I was hopin' I might get a pick.. well one of the nights none even came near me.. the other night.. oh my Goodness- he threw a bunch out, they all came RIGHT at me and those around me! ..one fell to the floor in front of me, I bent to pick it up, promptly hit my head hard on the seat in front of me, and another hand grabbed it off the floor before I was able to.. (LOL, little birdies were flyin' around me after that head shot

LOL well anyway, I knew it is a total shot in the dark to actually get a pick of his at a concert, I know it is for sure very slim chances for all of us.. ..I think I just had gotten it set in my heart, that I so wanted to wear this necklace that we found that is made specifically to hold a guitar pick.. it is sooo pretty.. and there it would be, Cookie's pick in a beautiful necklace, right around my neck, right near my heart.. at all times..

SO!!! ..it does mean that much to me, and made me realize it was worth it to at least come on and ask.. ..I do NOT want to be taking anyone's pick from anyone! ..just thought, if anyone possibly maybe had gotten any extras, and they didn't mind parting with one for some spendin' money.. well.. then I'm your gal

OKAY THEN!!!!!!!

..now that I have made a 'War and Peace'-sized post, I shall sheepishly retreat back to my living room..

Good luck with your hunt. I was fortunately enough to get one out of my six shows. I only got it because Johnny was throwing out the setlists, extra picks, and such, and a pick just flew through the air and hit me on the forehead. It's all luck. Unless you were at Charlotte, where picks were flying all over creation. But there weren't any David picks, just billions of Andy and Neal. I ended up with four Andys and a Neal before I gave up on bothering to pick them up lol.

..I do have one of Andy's that a security guard picked up off the floor after a show and handed me ...so THAT'S cool!!!

hahhaha...aww that sux, but you do sound very blessed to be able to go to so many great concerts

and thank you!! I must say though you guys r very good sports:) all my American friends say congrats,great game ect....if the game woulda been the other way the Canadias probably woulda been a little sour ahah

LOL yep, I think that Closing Ceremony miiggghhhtttt not have been *quite* as festive had the Americans won..
