Anybody planning to try for Knoxville? Tickets go on sale next Friday, 2/27 at 10:00 am eastern ONLINE ONLY. $25. It's about a 7-hour drive from where I live. I want to go to Macon on 4/8 but still don't have any info about tickets. Anybody want to go to Knoxville together? I live in south Alabama but would travel to meet up.

What puts you in the Christmas spirit?
I like to watch "Love Actually" and "The Polar Express." And classics like "It's A Wonderful Life" and "A Charlie Brown Christmas." <-- I've watched that one since I was a little girl. Some of my favorite Christmas songs/carols are: "Christmas in Dixie" - Since I live in the Heart of Dixie, aka Alabama, this one has always been special. "All I Want For Christmas Is You" - both the Mariah Carey version and the Vince Vance & the Valiants one. "I'll Be Home For Christmas" "O Holy Night" and "Silver Bells" And now, of course, there's David's "Happy Christmas" and "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas." I like to decorate my house - I don't go overboard 'cause it's just my dog and me, and I don't do much outside because it can't really be seen. But I love garland, clear lights, and angels and snowmen! It's fun to drive around and look at all the beautiful ways people decorate their houses and yards, and to send and receive Christmas cards. I like to buy and eat peppermint sticks (better than candy canes). So what are some of your favorites?

Here's the part about David: QUOTE Finalist David Cook performed five songs and fans’ screams were unmatched in comparison to other contestants. Cook worked on his guitar pick flinging by constantly showering fans with them. He performed his single, “The Time of My Life” and show favorites “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” and “Billie Jean.” He praised a front row fan for knowing each word and singing along and dedicated Foo Fighter’s “Hero” to his brother, Adam, who is battling brain cancer. "Finalist" should be "winner," but other than that, it's good. The whole review is pretty positive, and that makes me happy. I had a BLAST the other night.

My original plans to go to the Duluth (GA) show with a friend fell through, and my stepdad felt so bad for me that he offered to take my mom, my brother, and me either to Tampa or Bossier City, my choice.
Anybody else going to the Louisiana concert? |
