A few newish things...

David's Covers

I heard "The World I Know" by the original artist on the radio the other day and a thought came to me. The original just sounded so EMPTY.......I guess I've gotten so used to David's full, throaty voice, it just sounded strange....almost wimpy! lol So I thought I'd do a bit of an experiment. Radiohead's "Creep" has always been a favorite of mine but I hadn't heard the original in quite a while. I looked it up on the computer today to listen, and I must admit, compare it to DC's version with Axium from "Alive In Tulsa". Radiohead's version PALED in comparison! And he's spot on with "Man In The Box" by Alice in Chains, another longtime favorite. And I'm sorry, Danny Gokey should never have touched Hello at the finals. NOT EVEN CLOSE!

Surely I'm not the only one who has noticed these things!!
