David Hugs are the BEST.

I still cannot believe how much I am on cloud nine right now.

David Cook is the most amazing person on this planet.

In Connecticut, My sister Jenne and I went to the XL center to meet David, it was around 2:30 or sometime around then when they started to come out…but the roadies already were setting up their kiosks…so where me and my sister were…there was a big black curtain covering us. Was SOO annoying.

Let’s fast forward to David, cause he’s amazing.

David is coming down the line, and I’m freaking out cause he’s going too fast. In the other section, he was there forever! I was thinking to myself “He better not be quick with me! I’ll DIE.� So he’s about 5 feet away from me, and I see the eye tattoo and I’m intruigued. I said to him

“David! Did you get a new tattoo?� And he smiled and said

“Yes I did.�

“What does it mean?�

“It means beauty and tranquility.�

“Oh, that’s cool.� In my head, I said “That’s what you are.� He came over to me…the whole bracelet thing and dedication thing…you all know.

Then I say this

“David, Can I have a hug?� And I’m looking into his beautiful piercing green eyes. A big smile flashes onto his beautiful face and he said “Sure!�

And I’m consumed in his arms. I was the only Cook fan in my section besides my sister. He let me stay there forever. I squeezed him and he made cute lil grunting noises, but I knew I wasn’t hurting him. I was matching his hug. I was going to let go, but I felt that he wasn’t so I was like “I�LL NEVER LET YOU GO UNTIL IM FULLY SATISFIED!� I let go like 5 seconds later. I was there for a while but he was so gracious. His arms around my body LITERALLY. I don’t know…how I pulled my compousure together.

I let go and he was smiling. Jenne said that he looked very happy when I was hugging him. Then he went to Jenne and gave her a big hug as well! He had a big smile on his face as well!!

I asked David for a picture with him, and he said “Sure!� and I got a pic with him…and yeah…You see. It’s like AMAZING.

Then, I said “Can you take a picture with my sister?� And he said “Sure!� And I was about to take the pic, and I got SO overwhelmed with David in my Lens. I said

“I should know how to do this, I’m a photographer� and he chuckled. He said

“I took photography for a semester in college.� And I was like “DAVID AND A CAMERAA!/!?!fdbFszrgsdhgyLAESH� I didn’t say that…but I said

“I’m going to college for it!� And he said “COOOL!� Then he took a pic with an archie fan and made those silly faces and I said “Totally myspace posing…� and he said “Yeah right?� LOL And Then he was going to go and I said

“David. You ARE amazing. You are AM-A-ZING. Just…amazing.� I was trying to avoid I love you at all costs.

He was as happy as a school boy with candy. He said

“Oh, you’re making me blush!�

….. “Well, let’s see it.� I replied. YES I SAID THAT. AND HE CHUCKLED TO HIMSELF with a big smile on his face. I then touched his shoulder and said “I’m just kidding.� And I was like “AHHHH I CANT BELIEVE I SAID THAT TO DAVID COOK. AH MAN.�

So...I feel like an Idiot.

Well, I met David yesterday (I'll post about that later), and you guys know that I gave David my brother's bracelet...and I found out from a friend that a song was dedicated to me.

Well, I feel like an idiot.

It was not for me. I feel deeply embarrassed that I went around saying all of this stuff, I wasn't even there, I just heard from an outside party.

I spoke with David and I said...

"Hey David, I heard that you dedicated a song to a girl in the crowd a couple of nights ago and you said you were wearing her bracelet...I gave you a bracelet the day before you made that dedication..." And I pointed to myself with a questioning tone.

His face was solemn and he said "I'm sorry, darlin' that song was dedicated to another girl. She was just told she's dying in three weeks due to leukemia, and her make a wish was to come to the concert."

And I was like "Oh my goodness! You serious? That's horrible!"

and then I went totally off topic and talked about other things.

I love our Cookie for being such a humanitarian and so sweet to his fans.

I feel like a doof for posting false information.
