Just a warning, this will be long and I don't remember all the details of everything that happened because meeting him...yeah...totally lost my mind after that.

I got to the venue around 12:30 pm or so and had my boyfriend drop me off there. I was hoping to find a group of people from d-c.org all together to hang out with but I didn’t have such luck. I took my time wandering up and down the line thinking I might recognize a few people from their pictures on here. Every so often I’d ask some people if they were from this forum and most were from the AI board and I met someone from the Word Nerd board too. During this time I met the girls with the phone number poster. They asked each other if they should show me what they had, they were really excited about it and then one told me they’d talked to Andrew and that they had dug around and finally got the number to David’s mom’s house. They flashed the number at me and I just gave them a subdued “Oh� and thought that was a bit over the top and crossing the line.

I wandered around some more and found Krista from here who writes the amazing story “Your Hands All Over Me.� She and her friends were really nice and when I asked her if she’d met anyone else from here she pointed out our very own Sunshine girl and rlmama. I walked down to where Sunshine girl and her daughter were and introduced myself and ended up spending the rest of my time there with them. She was very nice (if you haven’t already, go read her fic Wrong Number, its unfuckingbelieveable) and her daughter was adorable!
Finally the Idols start coming out! Kristy was first and she power walked right by us saying she only had 15 minutes to sign things. She started at the far end and Ramielle started at the beginning. Soon they were joined by Syesha and Brooke. They are all beautiful in person! I asked Brooke if I could get a picture with her and she said she only could if she kept writing while we took it. She sounded really apologetic about it too. Unfortunately my camera decided to crap out then and I didn’t get one Next out was Archie and he is adorable, constantly smiling! It also didn’t help his “looking like a 12 year old� image by carrying around a Finding Nemo gift bag but I thought it was cute haha!

And then…there was Cookie! He was so great about taking his time with all of the fans! I loved watching him interact with people and seeing how happy they made him and he made them I had planned a lot of things I wanted to say to him or ask him. Wanted to let him know I really love Analog Heart and ask how the new album is coming. I wanted to ask how he was feeling and liking life on the road etc etc etc. And, the nearer that man got to me the less coherent I became. I completely forgot everything and I was so excited I was shaking… I must have looked silly but oh well. He signed my shirt and a picture I had of him. I then gave him two beaded bracelets I’d made (I almost forgot to give them too!). I said “David, I made these for you� and held out my hand to give them to him and he stuck his hand out and looked at me and had me slide the bracelets off of my hand onto his! *dead* I also got my picture taken with him! lol and I forgot to give him a good sniff, damn! I kept taking pictures as he was walking down the line and I got a great one where you can see the heartthrob and gray ribbon tattoos- so sexy! He stopped and played with someone’s dog for awhile and gave us a great buttshot! It was cute to watch him, you can tell he loves animals. Oh and when Archie went to go inside he ran down the line hi-5ing people and when David saw that he ran down to Archie to get his own hi-5, it was very cute!

I was so caught up in David that I almost missed Jason. When I turned back around he was at the people next to me and I was able to get a few good shots of him as well as my picture taken with him. He was such a cool and nice guy. I told him that my sister is a huge fan couldn’t be there and he said that it was too bad or something like that. When he walked back down the line to go back inside I asked him if he would mind saying, “Sarah, we wish you were here� and he stopped and said it- how stinkin’ sweet! Unfortunately I’m a jackass and hit the button on my camera so I just have him saying “Sarah, we wish you were he� Then David came running down the line giving high-5s like Archie did. The girl next to me and her mom asked him for a hug and he stopped. I asked if I could have one and he said no he could only do hi-5s cause he had to rush. And he took off running again!

At the concert I had floor tickets and since I couldn’t find anyone to sell my extra ticket to, I dragged my bf along. He was a really good sport about it even though he generally hates AI. Chikeze did a great job, he sounded wonderful- the best I’d ever heard him! The bf thought Chikeze should have been more in the middle(5 or 6)of the top 10, not #10-I tend to agree with that. I’m not huge Ramielle or KLC fans so I wasn’t as into their performances although I thought KLC sounded great and Ramielle had some great parts to her performance and I made sure to still cheer and applaud them. Micheal Johns rocked my socks off! I totally enjoyed his set, get job! Carly also blew me away! I just sorta liked her during the show. I could tell she was good just never cared for the sound of her voice but hearing her live-wow. Definitely changed my mind about her!. Brooke did a great job and sounded really strong and pure. My bf even commented on being really impressed by her voice, even if he wasn’t by her songs lol. Jason was great and sounded great. My bf’s comment about him was “Jason is cute� lol He said it was the only way to describe Jason’s personality, style, and voice. I agreed, Jason is a cutie! Syesha was also great although I didn’t care for some of her song choices. She looked very cute but her chest was so out there it kept distracting me. The bf said that as far as pretty girls go he’d rather watch her then KLC, I think it was the boobs that did it for him lol. Archie, like Brooke, came out playing piano and singing. I thought he sounded better live then he did on tv. Similar to the Carly thing with me, I think he can sing well but personally never cared for the tonal quality but I really liked him live and in person.

I thought the fans cheered loud for Archie and it made me worried for David but I needn’t have worried. The place just rang with screaming fans, me included! He looked amazing, he sounded amazing, he worked the crowd like a pro. I was on my feet the whole time screaming and cheering and shaking lol . He was great and really endeared the crowd to him by doing the whole “O-H� “I-O� thing. You could really tell he loves, loves, loves performing and he definitely stole the show. I don’t know what the IDWTMAT comment was about but I thought it was incredibly cute. Even though we think he’s perfect, or close to he still has insecurities and doesn’t think he’s all that. His version of the Foo Fighters “My Hero� was amazing and it made me more excited to go see the Foo Fighters on Fri . I can’t say enough good things about this man and his performance- simply stated it was GREAT.

The finale for the whole night was all the idols singing “Don’t Stop the Music� and it was big and cheesy with lots of choreography. I’m glad there were only a two group performances like that although I would have liked to see small groups or duets between some of the idols. The concert ended and everyone cheered. We made our way outside and I decided to not torture the boy any longer so we didn’t wait by the busses. All in all it was a great experience!

Anyone in or around the Akron, OH area or in Columbus

So here is the deal, I have an extra ticket to the Columbus show, Section F6, Row P Seats 3+4. My sister (and ride) is canceling on me so that leaves me with an extra ticket. My BF is being a sweetheart and is willing to drive me down to Columbus and then get a motel room for himself while I go all fangirly and try to meet the Idols and enjoy the show . Soooo now my question to you WordNerds is: Is there anyone in the Akron Ohio area that wants to go with me, or someone that just wants to meet up in Columbus at the tail-gating beforehand? I will sell the ticket at COST, so after service fees etc that Ticketmaster charged me you will pay $82 -or- best reasonable offer. Please PM me for more details or if you have any questions!!!

Oh, and if anyone was wondering, I'm 27 and really nice and way excited for this show!!!
