So does anyone have the scoop on that heart necklace that David is wearing in the CBTM video??? Is this a new necklace that he's wearing a lot? So far, I have spotted it:

(1) In the CBTM video

(2) In rehearsal photos from David's American Idol performance

(3) Worn at concerts

(4) In interview segment with (M)ace Young on American Idol Extra

(5) Worn as Terry, also shown on AI Extra

I'm wanting to know what the necklace REALLY looks like. So far, the best I can do is zoom into a screen-cap of the CBTM vid:

I think the necklace makes it on-screen debut for about 1.62 seconds, and nonetheless has me totally obsessed!! LOL

Anyone got a better image of it??? Or anyone else spotted David wearing it recently?

i was wondering about this too. this was the first thing i saw in the music video in the escialtor scene. i totally want to get one like this; that is if we find a good picture.
does anyone know if he is still wearing his star and handcuffs necklace? i havnt seen it on him in like months! and im really dissapointed because i got a matching one and from the day i got it i havnt taken it off

I remember listening to this audio interview, and the guy asked where he got his necklace and he said a fan gave it to him, and he just kinda kept wearing it. So I was wondering, are they talking about his heart necklace? I don't really know.



He calls his star and handcuffs necklace his Idol necklace. I wear mine all the time too. I don't know if he will wear it again...

He told me that a fan gave it to him and he has no idea where it came from. I did have it in my hand though - while he was wearing it I think there are dolphins on the heart. I was surprised he let me touch it to be quite honest, but he did.

Woo! That's awesome! Congrats on meeting him!! He sure is 10 billion times better in person isn't he? And I didn't think it was possible!

As much as I loved him on Idol, I really didn't think he could possibly be better. But you're right, there is nothing better than seeing him live! I was fortunate too, that my cousin is a student at the school where the show was held and she was in the front row. I did my best to look like I "belonged" there and walked right down and sat right next to her in the student seating(GA show...). Front row for my first DC concert....I'm spoiled now! If I ever see him again, it just couldn't possibly live up to that front row center, right in front of his mic stand feeling.

I REALLY want to go see him again, but every stop nearby gets sold out practically before they go on sale! It's a double edged sword living in Missouri....he's here quite a bit - but EVERYBODY wants to go see their Missouri boy sing! Dangit! lol

Rolla, MO is 2 weeks from this past Tuesday. I'm on the list for "day of show" released tickets. I'm really hoping, if they call at all, that they give me the 3 hours I'll need to drive there! ACK!

Christi- There's DOLPHINS on the heart? In the heart? Is that what the little twining bit across the top is???? I just thought it was like a vine. Or a chain. Or some briars. LOL I dunno....guess I can kinda see a fin on the left side of it.

Ditto on wanting a necklace like that one! I have a handcuff necklace, but don't wear it a ton. People look at me funny when they see handcuffs on my neck. LOL A nice little heart necklace would be much tamer for me.

Recently, I've been wearing a fleur de lis necklace a lot and layering it with other necklace for that multi-necklace look our Man is so fond of. My mom looks at me funny when I do it, cause she knows it's DC style. LOL I do the same thing with bracelets. Looooove that look!!

It looks to me like it's a dolphin, then the top of the heart is a dolphin and then there are little waves on the inside and waves splashing up on the right. Shocking I could actually see it that well isn't it, lol. Of course it took me a few hours but I finally noticed the necklace, lol.

I wear my necklace all the time and nobody says anything. I told my mom and grandma what it was, otherwise they never would have known, didn't tell my grandpa cause I knew he'd give me a fit for it, but he's never asked. It makes me so mad that no one has ever said anything about it. I don't go anywhere really, shopping and doctor appointments are it. I'm going to make me a dog tag necklace when I go to Walmart next week on their machine and put David Cook Rocks on it, I'm going to wear it to the concert with the handcuff necklace and I may get one of my own necklaces to wear along with those. I think I have a heart pendant, if not a silver one I have an amythest one.

David has sooo totally brought the heart pendant back into being "cool". I have one gold heart locket, a gold/ruby/diamond pendant and a silver turquoise heart necklace. Funny, I seem to be wearing them a lot more lately.

I found a few heart pendants, but they were all gold. I prefer silver to gold, yet I have a ton of chains and pendants. There's one that might qualify as silver it's so tarnished. I'm going to check out what they got at Walmart next week when I go. My mom will think I'm nuts going from no jewelry at home to 3 necklaces at once, lol. I also found a butterfly, if I don't find a heart I'll wear it, heck I could wear both I guess. I decided the amythyst wouldn't really look right.
